SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.
Not all communities use surveys and therefore may not have any survey information on their report card. These communities will show an "N/A" for their survey sections.

We're sorry to hear that you have not enjoyed your experience at Carrington Oaks. Our number one priority is making our residents feel comfortable in their homes, so if you feel that we have missed the mark here I highly encourage you to reach out to our manager to discuss any issues you've had in person so we can address them as soon as possible. We do not have a high number of thefts at our community or in our parking area, though crime has no address and can happen at any time in any location. We feel that our courtesy gates, engaged neighbors, and onsite courtesy officer offer abundant security at our community. If you have an issue to report, please call our office at your earliest convenience or dial 9-1-1 for any emergencies.

We're sorry to hear that noise hasn't been ideal but are glad that this is not causing any larger issues at this point. Zach98, thank you for taking the time to review us. I would like to take a moment to assure all residents and future residents that Carrington Oaks has a very strict policy regarding the discovery of bed bugs, and, while a single instance was reported in November, this instance was immediately contained and resolved. No other units have reported bed bugs, and all reports of bed bugs, or any pests, within a Carrington Oaks unit would be regarded with the utmost urgency and action would be taken the same day as the report was received or the issue was discovered. Any resident may be financially responsible for the pest control measures required to immediately eliminate the bed bugs in a unit if that resident is determined to be the sole cause of the issue. However, Carrington Oaks would never allow a unit to be rented with any kind of pests, especially bed bugs, and any pest control measures for pests not directly resulting from a resident's occupancy would be fully covered by Carrington Oaks management and Sherman Residential. The property is externally treated by a pest control company several times each year and residents may sign up for internal unit treatments at any time to occur the following week. We are, however, unable to cover the cost of pest control measures required for bed bugs (other pest control will always be included) when the occurrence of these bugs are directly caused by the resident living in the effected unit. We do greatly apologize for any inconvenience this experience caused or for any negative feelings toward our company that may have resulted from our actions to quickly and efficiently resolve this pest issue. We hope that going forward we are able to regain your trust that every action we take is in the best interest of our residents and the community as a whole. Hi Brett - Thank you again for your honest review. We look forward to addressing these issues with you and turning your experience around. We appreciate you letting us know about dogs being left leashed or unattended. We do require that pets be attended and on leashes at all times. If you notice a resident with an unleashed or unattended animal, please call our leasing office immediately so we may address this issue with the resident at fault. We so appreciate your help in keeping our property and our residents (human and animal) safe. As a preventative measure, pest control treats the exterior of one building each week on Monday after the maintenance team power-washes on Friday. This schedule ensures that power-washing does not wash away any pesticide treatment. Each Monday, the company will also visit any apartments that have reported pests. As a rule, pest control will never enter a unit which has not notified the office and been placed on the pest control list. This is a measure instituted to ensure your privacy. I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with the valet waste schedule. The service guide provided by the valet waste company does request trash be placed outside your door by 6:30pm, for collection beginning at 7pm. If there is ever an evening where they do not collect your trash, we ask that you please call or email us the very next day so we may address this oversight. I sincerely apologize if you have received anything but the most excellent customer service as this is what we pride ourselves in providing.
