I've been living here for 6 months and so far it has been great. I live in the 1b/1b and it is quite spacious for the price. The complex is kinda sketchy looking, but the people here are really nice--mostly grad students and some younger married couples. I've never had a problem with noise or felt I wasn't safe. I think they have hired new office staff because everyone I've dealt with has been polite, helpful, and maintenance is pretty timely. I have never had any issues with my internet. What really drew me in was that the pet deposit was only $400 for the whole unit, whereas most places charge around 400 per pet. So if you have multiple pets it's a huge plus. It took a lot of tlc to make it look cleaner, but that happens when you live in an older complex. The main thing I would complain about it that there is no central AC/heating, units instead have a window unit. I moved in in the summer and getting the air circulating into the bedroom was a huge hassle. But during the winter I've been comfortable without ever turning on the heater which saves me a lot of money. Also sometimes there is a slight smell, but I just use candles and scentsys whenever I need to and that gets rid of it. The complex/units are certainly not the nicest, but you get a lot for the price that you pay!
