I must preface this review that I returned to grad school after working full time and being able to live in very nice apartments. Therefore, I´m rather picky about the service I receive - I tend to insist on getting my money´s worth. I made the mistake of renting this apartment sight unseen - only because I was living in Europe and needed to have a place to live when I returned to the States. I had lived in another apartment managed by the same company, and it was very nice - so I expected the same from Tree House Village. Boy was I wrong! <br>When I moved in, there was an awful pet odor in the apartment. I had them come steam clean, but to no avail. I was able to convince them to install new carpet, but at great inconvenience to me. The installers required that I move my furniture and that I was present while they were working - they were 4 hrs late for their appointment. Next, I developed asthma & bronchitis soon after moving in. My doctor thought it was caused by environmental factors, so I had to have management come in and clean all my air ducts. I´ve also had trouble with my dishwasher, oven, toilet, windows, and doorlock. In the 3 months I´ve lived here, I´ve probably had to call maintenance about 15 times. They are very slow to respond and typically "patch" the problem instead of fixing it. And to cap it all off, I´m paying more than I have paid for luxury apartments that I really enjoyed living in. In short, avoid this complex AT ALL COSTS!!!
