As the prices are cheap for the location, it is not worth your time to live here. My roommate and I have been here for 5 months now, on a 6 month lease and nothing has been done as far as maintenence. When we moved in, they said everything was brand new; carpeting, bathroom, painting, etc. The first was really nice and then we noticed the extremely poor remodeling that was done. Within the first month, my bedroom door broke and my closet door broke. You could see where it had been cracked and painted over. My toilet seat broke completely off, and I only weigh 140lbs. My shower never drained right and neither did my sink. When trying to unclog my drain by unscrewing the drain cover that was on there, I noticed it had also been painted on. And upon cleaning out my drain it was tons and tons of garbage. Within 3 months, my shower head has disconnected itself from the wall and the shower head that was on there was leaky and covered in lime. The carpeting near the walls started coming up and I'm guessing they didn't it put it down right because as I walk into the kitchen, I have to be careful where I step or I'll stab my feet on the staples. We live on the 2nd floor near the breezeway so you can hear everything all the way to street clearly. If someone is having a conversation outside, you can hear about 80% of it. I've made numerous calls to the office about the maintence, and one time a man stopped by to make a list about all of our problems, but never returned. When we moved in, we were told that the elevators would be fixed by June. Here it is, October and I have yet to see somebody working on them. IF we were to renew our lease, our rent would go up to 809.00 and we get a free carpet cleaning. But we're paying 789.00 now for everything in our apartment to be broken.
