Pros: great building (originally the Ford Model-T factory from the 1920's); conveniently located to most major highways and night life; loft spaces a great blend of rustic/industrial loft look with modern up-to-date apartment conveniences; significant modifications/customizations to your loft are allowed; lofts priced reasonably.

Cons: Internal walls are super thin and poorly insulated (bass carries BAD); neighbors can be a bit inconsiderate of the noise carrying, even when it is brought to their attention; management does little to ensure people act as good neighbors; though the parking lot is gated, it is far from secure--since there is no razor wire, the fence is scaled and cars are broken into; bums abound in the neighborhood; large bay windows make for great views and HELLACIOUS electricity bills; the liberal "customize your loft policy" can get carried away--I had a neighbor with a full-size basketball goal in his loft, which was quite noisy, and the management did nothing; management seems to have cause to enter peoples lofts too frequently, with too little notice (sometimes not even a full 24 hours); volume of people in the neighborhood, combined with police barricades, can be cause a traffic nightmare on some nights and weekends; elevators are sloooow; some of your typical neighborhood conveniences that one would expect from urban living (a la NYC or Chicago) are not there--expect to drive if you need to do anything but dine or drink.

I never call maintenance, so I can't comment (I can fix my own perpetually running toilet or whatever).

If you choose to live here it will be for the architecture of the building, the views of downtown, and the general urban living experience, and the reasonable price at which it is offered here. You will sacrifice a lot of things for that choice.
