I have lived at Carriage Homes for over 4 years and I am shaking my head wondering why. Electric bills for a 850 sq ft apartment are routinely double those of a home twice this size - expect to pay over $250 in the winter months! Add in the poor construction, like hearing my neighbors "talk" (that's not what I mean; you can figure it out), and the hairline cracks appearing in my walls, plus the worst maintenance I have ever experienced in any apartment complex. I am not exaggerating when I say that to get things FIXED required 4 maintenance requests for my refrigerator and 3 for the garbage disposal. Management turns over about every 6-8 months, and no one appears to live on the property, which would explain why community policies like not leaving trash out overnight or during the weekend are rarely enforced.
I will say that the one good thing about living here is it has convinced me to buy my own home.
