Jesse, We care about our residents and our community and we are deeply sorry if any of your time at Axis at Wycliff did not live up to certain standards. Let me be the first to apologize for any negative experience you may have had here. We will be the first to admit that there had been some struggles with managing garbage and odor through the summer months, but we have recently made improvements in our practices and hope you are seeing a significant improvement in this arena. We believe we have found a solution that works for the building. We will continue to monitor this issue as we move forward. While it remains the responsibility of all pet owners to clean up after pets, we can assure you that we take all necessary measures to clean up communal areas where accidents have occurred. If you see anything that concerns you, please contact our office immediately. We also take the closure of doors leading to the garage very seriously. We keep a back stock of locks available so that we can change out a damaged lock. We cannot guarantee that locks will not occasionally be broken when misused by residents, but we continue to monitor on a daily basis. And again, please report any issues you may encounter to our office. We have recently changed to a new courtesy officer who is a proud member of the Dallas Police Department. He is very responsive to noise complaints for homes and the pool to make sure all rules and regulations are followed. If you have any questions on how to contact the courtesy officer after hours, we would be happy to assist in any way possible. We are genuinely sorry if any past experience has caused you to lose faith in us but we hope that it is never too late to regain your trust. Please know that we have taken your words to heart and that we appreciate your honesty. Thank you for your valuable feedback. We appreciate all of the wonderful things that you have to say about our community amenities, apartment finishes, and neighbors. We recognize that noise can be one of the less desirable parts of apartment living and we do apologize if this has caused you any inconvenience during your time at Axis. We will always have a certain level of noise between floors due to the beautiful plank floors that are part of our apartment features. If however, you are experiencing excessive noise from your neighbors either between floors or walls, the Axis at Wycliff team is happy to address specific concerns on your behalf. We also have a courtesy officer on site who can respond to any noise complaints at any hour. We would be more than happy to assist you with any issues regarding less-than-courteous neighbors. We would encourage you to stop by the office and speak with our manager, Carol, so she can document and address these concerns. In regards to the gate on Brown, we apologize for what seems to have been a miscommunication on our part about the gates. This issue was actually a series of several repairs that unfortunately fell back to back. During one of the repairs, we were given the option to allow residents to use only the operable side of the gate or to close the gate entirely which would force all residents to use the Congress Ave entry. We chose the first option because we felt that this would be most convenient for our residents. Each new incident of damage was addressed as soon as we became aware of the issue, and again we do apologize that this caused you any inconvenience in your daily routine. We will use your feedback to improve our resident communications whenever these types of issues arise on our property. Thank you for expressing your experience with the gym equipment. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am deeply saddened to hear that anyone was made to feel that management doesn't care. Our on-site team appreciates the opportunity to work with all of our residents to improve their quality of life at this community. That is always of our utmost priority. Over the last three months, we have diligently been working with our new team and contractors to ensure that Axis at Wycliff continues to be a premier community. We have made several improvements to the landscaping around the community, and will continue to make enhancements to the landscape in the upcoming months. Just to list a few items that have been done to beautify the community include pressure washing the parking garage from top to bottom, with parking lines repainted throughout the garage. All hallway carpets were professionally cleaned, and have had our on-site team spot clean as needed on a regular basis. We are continuing to work on long term solution to better address the concerns with the hallway carpet. In the upcoming weeks, we will begin working on the hallway walls to touch up the nicks and scratches As a community convenience we have several dog waste receptacles around the community, my apologies if we have run out of bags at one of the stations. Our team checks the doggie stations 6 days a week, and we have many four legged residents, who take advantage of this amenity, should you notice a station without bags, please contact our leasing office. Our new management team sincerely apologizes for any challenges you may have experienced with the previous ownership with your renewal rate, and subsequent transfer. Over the last three months, we have diligently been working with our new team and contractors to ensure that Axis at Wycliff continues to be a fantastic community. We have made several improvements to the landscaping around the community, and will continue to make enhancements to the landscape in the upcoming months. We have had the parking garage pressure washed and cleaned from top to bottom, with parking lines repainted throughout the garage. We recently had the carpets on all hallways levels professionally cleaned, and have had our on-site team spot clean as needed. We are continuing to work on long term solution for the hallway carpet, as the area receives tons of foot traffic from all our residents, both two and four legged. We are also continue to work with our neighbors to pick up after their pet, and place trash out on selected days, so that we can all enjoy the community. We are committed to listening and helping our residents. While we agree some level of noise is expected, there is also a limit. We have a fantastic team of professionals who are focused on ensuring resident satisfaction. We take pride in offering a great living experience.
