I have been here over a year, only because this apartment complex is so close to my job. The staff is very unprofessional, and many times I feel like I'm talking to my mother and not a professional staff member. The letters to the residents are hand written, and most of the time you can't read them because the handwriting is so illegible! They clean the pools daily, but they are only open a couple days out of the week, due to the laziness of the pool keyholder (the manager). I was told I can't let my son ride his bike inside the complex, yet every other family does with no complaints. My car was broken into the first week I moved in (Aug '04), and called the police after I was told by the mgmt "oh, that happens to all the 'white' people who move in." I work nights and can never find parking close to my apartment. I constantly hear either loud music or someone yelling at someone else. The sidewalks and stairs despirately need a power washing, and I carry mace in my hand when walking from my car to my apartment door. The water pressure is too hard on the sinks and not enough in the shower. I moved from a 1 bdrm to a 2 bdrm, cleaned my apt from top to bottom, and still got charged a (quote from the mgr) "normal cleaning fee" of $85. I do have to say the maintenance staff is very fast and efficient (from all 7 times something has gone wrong with my plumbing/dishwasher/garbage disposal). I am moving out this month (Oct '05) because my son is about to start school and I don't want him to be in this school district.
