Chase Crossing Apartments
Resident · 2008 - 2013
I have lived at Chase Crossing for almost 5 years. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone for the reasons stated below: The apartment complex is small and very quiet. It is in a gated community with a sidewalk around the perimeter of the apartments that people can exercise or walk their dogs. I feel safe here. I called 911 once and the police were at my door in less than 5 minutes. For those who do not drive, Chase Crossing is centrally located and there is a bus stop just outside the apartment complex. Recently (2013),the City of Dallas did an inspection of Chase Crossing. The apartments received a rating of 100 (a perfect score). The current apartment manager has been here for 4 years. She is unlike other apartment managers in the area. She genuinely loves people and pets! She has been very pro-active since she has been here. Last year, she renegotiated the electric rates and was able to cut the electricity rates by 50%. I do not know of any apartment manager in the Dallas area who has done this for their residents. The apartment manager was also instrumental in getting the apartment new gym equipment last year. The grass is cut every week. There are lots of flower beds that are well maintained which makes Chase Crossing a wonderful place to live. There are also lots of crepe myrtles on the property which makes Chase Crossing a very beautiful place to live. Recently, the parking lot was repaved and re-striped. This is the second time this has been done since I have lived here. The parking spaces are wider than most parking spaces so you do not have to worry about your car getting dented all the time. There are lots of extra parking spaces for guests. It is not difficult to find a parking space any time of the day or night. All the washers and dryers have been replaced in the 2 laundry rooms. One thing that is really nice is the dryer runs for 45 minutes for $1 and it really dries your clothes. The laundry rooms and fitness center require a key to get in. This is an added measure of protection for residents. The kitchens are big and there are many cabinets. My refrigerator broke and it was replaced with a brand new refrigerator the same day within a few hours of my reporting the problem. The maintenance staff has been here for a very long time. When I see them they are always smiling, never complaining. The apartment complex will clean your carpet for free. The apartment complex has a pest control company come out and spray the inside and outside of the apartments frequently. I have seen very few roaches or other bugs since I moved in 5 years ago. The apartments are a great place for students to live. There is a huge closet in the dining area, a large closet as well as a large walk-in closet in the bathroom. The apartment will be getting a new roof this year as well as new furniture for the pool. If you visit the apartment complex, you will see signs throughout the apartment for parking for long-term residents. I think a person has to live at Chase Crossing for 10 years in order to get a sign designating the person as a long-term resident. This speaks a lot about how satisfied the residents are with living here! I could go on and on and tell you how much you would love living here. However, come visit and talk to the residents to get a true picture of what it would be like living here. Also visit other apartment complexes in the area and see what their resident have to say about their apartments. What nice things do the residents of the other apartments have to say about their apartment complex, their apartment manager or their maintenance staff? How does this compare to Chase Crossing? People are trying to get into Chase Crossing. Take the time to talk to long-time residents wherever you go and not just the short term residents. This will give you the best picture of what life is like at Chase Crossing and the other apartment complexes.
