Going on my fourth lease term at AFM, my experience hasn't been terrible. I've seen management changes throughout my time here including the faces in the office and the overall upkeep of the property declining. The original charm of AFM and what set them a part from any other place southend of downtown was the SUPERIOR customer service and the precedence they put in on the resident experience (knowing you by name, resident events, above and beyond customer service). It seems now as prices rise and fees + additional services that are not optional, it's losing that WOW factor. Yes, the office/clubhouse is undergoing a drastic revamp, but I think if they can put the same energy and money back into making the residents feel appreciated and valued they'll be back on top again. I will say that I feel like the onsite managers really do care and will listen to resident concerns. There's a lot of new faces on the maintenance team and I haven't had any recent service request to speak to how they are doing. I do wish the grounds were better kept, including the stairwells, elevators and halls. Apartment Ratings gave review writing tips and suggested "not to go overboard and keep the review precise and to the point" but how do you sum up a 4 year experience in 200 characters? All in all, I love the neighborhood and AFM is a great place to call home, I've done it 4 years now.

Our hope that adding a 24 hour coffee bar, free Stumpton cold brew coffee, 12 complimentary instructor led fitness classes each month, Wellbeats virtual fitness classes, the cycling area, the resident library and record lounge, and the dry cleaning lockers has been a positive experience for you.
