I would highly recommended seeking residency elsewhere. Please nobody agree to lease out apartment number 2005. I am beyond livid. My apartment has flooded three times since May. Their only solution was to put sandbags down and telling me they they would have a contractor to check on it but when following up the only response is we aren't sure when they will come. It is now the end of October. Water comes through the back patio door and goes throughout the entire apartment as well as seeps through the walls. Every single time it floods management just cleans the carpet and sends me about my way. I've requested new carpet due to my daughters asthma problem and with growing mold, and they were unable to accommodate me. The management told me that it's a foundation issue and that if they were to give me new carpet that it would just happen again. knowing that it's a foundation issue, why would you rent out this unit? After my most recent encounter with the water,again,I requested to move to a new unit. I was then told I could move to a new unit that is EXACTLY the same as mine, but I would have to sign a new lease as well as pay 106.00 more than I am already paying. This is very unacceptable. I am a resident that pays my rent on time every month and can't be accommodated for something that is beyond my control. When asked if there is someone else I could speak with management said that she reached out to the area manager to see if there is something that they could do for me and promised me a returned call the same day. I never heard back from her and had to reach out the previous day to get an update. The update was that the area manager was flying on a plane and would contact her when she landed. It has now been day 3 that I have had no luck in resolving this issue. The sense of urgency is nonexistent. I have attached several pictures and videos along with this post so you guys can see the flooding water and the conditions that this apartment has currently been in.
