I have to respond to the previous entry. I work in the office and know about this particular situation. As a staff member I probably shouldn't respond to the statement made, but I was the person who personally helped this individual out and presented every possible solution, other than telling them they do not have to pay to get out of lease early. It all boils down to people thinking they should get something for nothing. It amazes me people get very upset when they don't like what they hear. Even if what they are being told, they know to be true. If every property let everyone out of their lease early, then they wouldn't stay in business. That's why there are several different lease terms that you have the option to chose from upon move in. But the facts are every resident is told of their consequences if they decide to terminate their lease early.Should that make us a bad staff or property, no. Does that depict us to seem like we only want your money if you have to leave early, no. But, if you think so, then you are entiled to your opinion. Just because we are apartments and not an actual home doesn't mean you can just pack and leave when it seems fit for you.We are a business that has to deal with 259 plus people on a daily basis. As well as, owners and supervisors. I guess we just can't make everyone happy.
