I have lived at the Verona for about 2 years, and have a pretty good feel for the place. I short, it's an excellent place to live.
There are many pluses:
1) The location is EXCELLENT.
2) The building VERY quiet. I rarely hear neighbors at all.
3) The management is very responsive and the maintenance crew does a great job.
4) It is very secure, and people here value their privacy.
5) The doormen are a lifesaver, accepting packages, sending deliveries and guests up, etc., etc.
6) The gym is as good as any I've seen.
7) The place is VERY dog friendly.
8) Other tenants include small families, couples, singles, elderly, everything.
Minuses?:
1) Guest parking is occasionally a little challenging, but there is plenty of parking in the area.
2) The pool is in the shade in the afternoons, but on sweltering summer days, that's not a bad thing!
I have never lived in one of those toney Manhattan high-rises, but the Verona seems to have everything that they do, plus more.
