Left at the beginning of the year and am finally getting around to a review. First, the good: apartments are good-sized for the price, convenient to DFW Airport and the freeways, parking was never a problem, neighbors were friendly and maintenance was usually responsive to service requests. Now the bad: if you rent here and aren't a fan of lots of kids, avoid the buildings on E Denton Dr (apts numbered in the 5000's). Kids everywhere! They love to play outside (better than sitting indoors in front of a tv) so sometimes you have to weave through the bicycles and kids running around. If you like it really quiet, or if you are the type that worries about your car possibly getting dinged (nothing ever happened to mine in the year I lived there and I don't know of anyone that had anything happen), that side of the complex is not for you. The stairs and entryways are in dire needed of a good power washing. Also, the apartment I had had a wall to the west so the temperatures in the bedrooms were consistently 7-8 degrees warmer than the living room through the summer. Not much you can do when the sun is beating on that wall. Just a renter beware thing. The one negative on maintenance was when I needed a new water heater. A shower lasting more than 4-5 minutes would start hot and end cold. Took about 6 months and a couple of inquiries to get a new one. Overall, this place isn't bad for the price. Just a bit noisy until the kids go inside for the evening.
