I've lived here since June 2012. Here is my opinion thus far:
Management: The office staff is very nice and accomodating, they have always been friendly and helpful when needed. The maintenance staff great, the guys are nice and super helpful. Things get fixed within a day or two. You'll usually see them on the complex so if you have any issues they'll never hesitate to help.
The Apartments: The apartments are a little older, but they've done a great job in upgrades to counter that. The kitchen has new appliances (although i wish I didn't have to buy a separate microwave ... but honestly not a big deal), they have nice laminate in the kitchen and bathrooms and have restained the cabinets and put new counter-tops in as well. They've paid attention to the details like the blinds and hardware ie doornobs etc. The patio is a decent size with a storage unit to boot, which they DON'T charge you extra for. If you can believe "The Lodge" down the street does.
The Complex: Everyone i've met while walking my dog outside has been nice and friendly. There is a nice mix of ages and races. They also re-did the mini dog park which is really nice to have especially if you have an energetic pup like me. The grounds are well kept ... minus some of the jerks who fail to clean up after their dog. Parking is plentiful, they have recently (last week) installed covered parking. Nice enough that the covered parking doesn't take up all the good parking spots. The close proximity to the trinity trails/river is nice for easy access to go bike riding and/or running.
Amenities: The gym they have is great. They have the basics ... if you're looking to have a serious workout ... that's what "gyms" are for. But it does the job when i need to jump on the treadmill for some cardio.
I have only minor complaints. There are a few neighbors with vocal dogs ... You can pay rent online but have to pay an extra $10 fee to do so. Dropping rent off can be annoying especially if you like the convenience of online payment options.
