Unfortunately you moved out prior to me starting as the new Community Manager. My approach is very different and I wish I would've had the opportunity to help resolve any issues you had during your stay. I took a look at your rate increase and it looks like the rate increase you are referring to was the month to month rate, which is typically higher than if a resident were to renew for a set period of time. Thank you so much for your kind words about Cortland Phillips Creek Ranch. It is our goal to make the community a place you're proud to call home. The valet waste program is intended to reduce an abundance of trash throughout the community and is convenient for you to not have to haul your trash to the compactor. I love the suggestion for recycling! We are in the process of working with our waste support team as well as the city to see if we can get set up on this program. Stay tuned for an update on this. Hi Neighbor, I am sorry to hear that you have experienced difficulty reaching us on the phone. We do our best to answer all phone calls, but are unable to do so with tours or if another resident is being helped. However, we do make a habit of responding to every voicemail received within 24 hours. While we were short staffed recently, we are now fully staffed and are able to reply to you quickly by phone or email. Also, with our full team we are able to enforce the valet waste policies by issuing violations noted any time a team member is inspecting the property. The management team is also targeting 6 buildings each week for violation inspections. We are proud of the strides our Front Door Waste Team has made in taking care of the community while offering a service to our residents. Tiara, Thank you for providing your honest feedback as we truly appreciate the opportunity to improve. While we truly understand your frustration with the plumbing issue in your shower, we worked through each possible solution and hired an outside contractor who fully resolved the issue. Having an issue with more than 1 appliance is certainly upsetting and we hope that our prompt action to replace both appliances helped alleviate the stress for you at the time. Also, all common areas are on a preventative pest control treatment for ants, but we did treat the cinema room again last week after an inspection revealed ants in that area. Ultimately we do understand that when things go wrong and our best efforts don't seem to turn a resident's experience with us around, it is important to have options. Cortland's 45 Day Move in Guarantee is in place for a reason, and we do truly wish you the best as you prepare for your move into a new home.
