Resident 2005

I can't wait to call it our home!

Although we haven't moved in yet, I wanted to offer a passer-by review if you will. My fiance and I stopped by the other day and were immediately greeted! We were trying to figure out the gate to get in (probably a good sign on the safety feature that we couldn't yet) and a resident drove up and rolled down her window and asked if we needed some help. We told her we were going to be looking at leasing the apartments and she went on for a few minutes about how much she loved them and that she was glad we were considering them. Even offered us some tea if we had time! She then opened up the gate with her remote and drove to the lease office so we could find it. We then went to the lease office and were met by a few residents who said just about the same thing...one said, "Just go ahead and sign the lease, you're going to love it." Then we sat down with Shannon who went through her sales pitch. We ended up qualifying for several 'deals' which cut our bills quite considerably.… See More>

    nice place to live

I have lived in Windridge for almost 2 years. It is a very well kept community with beautiful landscaping. Maintenance crew is quick to fix and polite. I never have had a problem with the office staff. There is a security guard that drives around all night. Overall it is a large community but very quiet and well kept. I have been very happy here and have always felt safe, I would recommend it to anyone.

office staff is a bunch of idiots!

I have lived here for a while and the office staff is always changing. They have final managed to hire the queen of the idiots, Natalie. She can not help me with any of my issues and always sounds really confused. Sometimes I am not even sure she knows where she is at. Lincoln has really lowered their standards. Thank God for Erin!

          Great Community I Miss It

Excellent complex,Well Maintained, Great Service, Great Pools,Lots of closet space, new appliances I HATE that we moved and We're definatly considering moving BACK. The only reason we left is it was a little pricey and we were afraid of a rent increase. We put in our 30 day notice and they did'nt get back w/ us till about 10 days prior to moving by them we'd signed a lease at a new community. They did say they would of worked with us if we'd asked. Once this lease ends they are at top of our list.

            Great for the price

I lived in Windridge for 4 years. We had several managment changes but the one they have now is great. Dispite the fact that she does smoke(refering to another reviewer who complained about her smoking), I never had a problem making an appointment to see her. She was always willing to do whatever it took to make any problem right. I never had any problem with parking or noise (except for the occasional loud music that Smith patrol took care of). It is a much better place than I live in now and I pay a LOT more money in a poorly built new building.

Horrible. RUN!!! Can never speak with Manager, she is never at work. If she is at work you have to find her outside smoking.

                Absolutely Wonderful Place!!!

This is a great and comfortable place to live. Management really cares about there tenants. For example, there were an increase of car break-ins in the area, so the complex heighten security by hiring three patrolmen (who are constantly driving around at all times) and they changed the access gates to remote and card access only (rather than the old way with a pin code pad (in which everyone and their grandmothers knew the code to get in). There is a firestation on the same lot and several police officers live in the complex. The maintenance crew is excellent. They respond very fast and fix things the first time around. The landscape is always maintained. The swimming pool is like something you'd see at a resort. After swimming in it, you feel and smell like you just got out of fresh water. When I first moved in, all of the appliances were brand new, the paint was fresh, and I had a beautiful, brand-new, beige carpet. Check it out, it's gorgeous and worth every penny.

These apartments are great! It is like it´s own little community. I have a great apartment in a very secluded area, and staff is very nice and helpful. Pools are always clean, lanscaping is kept well, and the only bad thing would be the parking. There are so many people and not enough parking spots. But they have Smith Patrol on site, and always patrolling the area. They apartments keep you well informed of what is going on in the community. The apartments are pretty safe, and I have seen nothing go on since I have lived here. They allow police officers to live here rent free. That is a plus...

I rent the largest one bedroom, it´s very nice. Vaulted ceilings, fireplace, patio...really great! <br> <br>We´ve made many maintenence calls and they´re prompt, for the most part. <br> <br>I don´t like the parking, sometimes I´ve got to park in another complex´s lot because mine is full. And there is no assigned or covered parking. <br> <br>I´ve never had a problem with noise. Our area is pretty secluded, we even have a nice little view of the woods from our patio, instead of someone´s bedroom window or something. <br> <br>It´s very good access to I30 and Hwy 360. I get to work in 10 minutes, my office is close to Euless.

                        Strip Mall Apartment complex

I dont like this apartment complex for the following reasons 1) we have ants, 2) there are at least 1000 people that live here 3) there is no covered parking 4) its too expensive

the complex is well-maintanied and the landscaping is always looking great. my apartment was very clean and freshly painted when i moved in. <br> <br>sometimes the area i lived in could get a little loud, especially on weekends. but keep in mind that this complex is huge so there are still some pretty secluded areas. <br> <br>i had a puppy while i lived there, and unfortunately he tore up the carpet near the front entrance. when i moved out i was pleasantly surprised that the management refunded all my deposits. <br> <br>if you´re moving to dallas, definately consider this place.

                            Noise is a serious problem!

If you enjoy peace and quiet, this is not the property for you. The basketball court causes alot of noise anytime people are playing. People often were out there playing at 2:00a.m. Management was unresponsive about posting hours for the court or locking the gates at night. Normal closing time (not posted) is 11:00p.m. which is very late considering anytime the court is in use, they are disturbing the peace because there are apartments and three sides with a pool and the leasing office enclosing the court, which causes a very loud area. Also, I30 produces alot of traffic noise as well.

Lived here for two years. The management was very nice. Prompt service for any repairs. Well maintained for such a long established apartment complex. Very clean and property grounds had maintained the gardening and painting nicely. Never had any problems with safety. <br><br><br><br><br>Lots of employee discounts and specials to fit everyone´s needs. I feel as if I recieved more than my money´s worth. I would definitely move here again if I moved back to Dallas. <br><br><br><br><br>Would recommend to anyone.
