Haltom City an affordable area for a person unfamiliar with north Texas. If you're the sort to explore different spots in the US (on meager means) then Texas' Haltom City is a not too terrible place do it. The Desert Sands has a cool office staff. Not bad grounds. Fresh paint both in and out. And a few residence seem establishments in the place causing them to be noticeable fixtures (which is half bad). A youth can just move into Desert Sands in Haltom City, get a job and contribute to its society. Birdville's (school) got a cool track. Richland Hills has got somewhat well accommodations for an all American lifestyle. The place isn't half bad. In fact it's likeable for persons ready to contribute to the Fort Worth area. The road construction right near Desert Sands is a wicked nuisance (yet has been job security for road dudes for a year, perhaps that's the justification for it not being completed) KJ
