Dear resident We are sorry to hear that you feel AMLI Uptown has not met your expectations. We would like the opportunity to chat about your maintenance concerns as we do work to complete service requests within 24 hours. Of course with Covid we have made some temporary changes to that process. Regardless, we want to ensure you are taken care of! Our rates are inline with comparable communities in our area but can change daily as supply and demand fluctuate. Our residents do not pay for amenities which is why there was not a reduction in rental rates. We do have some options available should you be experiencing any hardships due to Covid, just give us a call and we are happy to share them with you. We look forward to speaking with you regarding your concerns and how we can work with you to continue your residency with us.

We are delighted to see that in general, you are happy with your home. As with any community there are quirks that you seem to approach realistically. We do understand the alarms are not the most enjoyable of these quirks. As you may know they are a requirement in the city of Houston and are in place in case of an actual fire. Their sensitivity has been discussed many times and we are continuously looking at options we may have regarding this. We value you as a resident and part of out AMLI Uptown family. Hello, thank you for posting your review of our community, we are sorry that you feel your last couple of months have not been up to your expectations. The parking here is great, we have plenty of spaces as you pointed out. The community is great for walking to shops and restaurants; traffic at night and on the weekends in Houston is bad anywhere you go, we just have to live with it since we live in one of the largest cities in the United States. The visibility getting out of the garage can be tricky but since it's public parking on the street we have no control over it and as the police told you, they can't help with that. As for the gates being out of commission, this does happen on occasion anywhere there are parking gates, we have the repairs made as quickly as we can but we do rely on outside vendors for the repairs and sometimes they don't come out as quickly as we would like them to. Children in the pool area is another issue you mentioned; we do monitor this especially on the weekends but it's not always easy to find the parents of those children, it's an ongoing project. When you live in apartments you do have to accept that children might not behave like you would like them to and people don't keep their voices down out of respect to others, but we all have to try and live in harmony with one another. As for the LEEDS Certification; LEED certification is achieved through many different Rating Systems and you will find many variations of green features on every LEED certified property.Our LEED for Homes certification was achieved on 7/22/13 and is posted publicly on the U.S. Green Building Council's website. Dear Sir, We are sorry that your experience at our community has left you feeling unhappy and frustrated. That is certainly not our intent. We have notified the community manager who is trying to get in touch with you to discuss some of your concerns and complaints. Most of all we wish to apologize to you for all of the problems that you encountered since your move in. I do want to let you know that the hallway carpets are shampooed on a regular basis and also as needed so that pet urine is cleaned up as quickly as possible. We can't always control our pet owners, all we can do is hope that they will be responsible owners and either clean it up themselves or notify us of an accident. We do not ignore the problem. Thank you for letting us know of your issues and please have a conversation with your community manager when he calls you.
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write your opinion of our community. I would like to take this opportunity to address some of your complaints and views of this beautiful community. We do have an issue with the smoke detectors, they are very sensitive and when the building was built they were installed very close to the kitchen where most fires start. We are working with our building engineers to find a solution, but safety of our residents is paramount to any changes to the system. We never post personal information about residents if you filled out information on the Active Building system for packages and other messages this is the only way that anything would be posted, you can make changes to the account that you set up, we do not provide any information to anyone about our residents! Our manager remembers providing you with the towing company information so that you could have cars towed from your private parking space and we believe cars were towed twice from your space. The elevators at this community do not break that often and when they do require maintenance, it is done as quickly as possible by the elevator company. Halls are monitored many times per day for cleaning and the carpets are shampooed on a schedule every week. As for your walls and ceilings leaking, we are unaware of a problem nor did you ever report a leak in your apartment, condensation on your windows is common in the summer but not on the walls and ceiling. We wish you would have reported it to us at the time. Yes we do have some residents swimming and having fun at the pool during the day and on weekends, but we have only had one party and it was a resident pool party in June that you attended. Children need to be supervised we agree with you and anytime we can notify parents about a problem, we do. Our security monitor has been changed and we have two on duty. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your home at our community, and we wish you luck in the future.

First let me thank you for being a resident for 2 years, we appreciate you very much. I'm sorry that you have had a stain on your ceiling from the rains; we never like to hear about a problem like that. Our Manager and Service Manager have been requested to review the problem with our outside vendor roofing company and they should be getting with you very shortly to tell you the problem has been resolved and to make arrangements to have your ceiling painted. With all the rain we have been receiving, it's been hard for the roofing company to make needed repairs as they can't do them in the rain. No excuses, just letting you know. Again, we apologize to you for this inconvenience and I hope after your meeting with the manager your problems will all be solved. Thank you for taking the time to write this review.
Hello and thank you for posting your opinion of our community AMLI Uptown. This community is in a fantastic location, close to the Galleria (walking distance) but on a quiet tree lined side street. This is a great place to live if you want to be close to great restaurants, shopping, businesses but still want that quiet charm of a out of the way side street. The community is fairly new and has all the upscale amenities and fixtures in the apartments. The garages are maintained by our team but at times we do have to rely on outside vendors so repairs might take a day instead of hours to be repaired. Unfortunately we don't have control over outside vendors. Again, thank you for providing your opinion and we hope that above all, you did enjoy your living experience at AMLI Uptown.
