I lived at CrankBrook Forest from 2000 to 2002. The apartments were great and the landscaping was beautiful. The price for a one bedroom at the time was at $485 per month. If I had any problems with the apartment I'd call the front office and they would send maintenance right over. The had a gym where you could use many new exercise machines at any time of day or night. And they had a great swimming pool, sometimes it needed a little maintenance but theyd get to it before they let anyone go in the water. The neighbors were friendly and we always has Houston PD patrolling the parking lots. I felt really safe hear especially because I came from a small town in South Texas, and this community made me feel at home. I decided to move back to my home town in 2002 and left Crankbrook Forest. It saddens me to hear that this place has really gone down from how it used to be. This community used to be an upper middle class community, and now it sounds like a low class place to live. I am planning on moving back to Houston soon, and wish theyd clean this place up before I go back, if not Ill just have to find a new place that is just like Crankbrook Forest used to be!
