I lived here for a year in a one bedroom apartment and had no real complaints. My apartment was right next to the front gate, with people coming and going constantly, so I probably heard more noise than anybody - but none of it was terrible, and certainly not constantly so. A friend of mine lived in a courtyard apartment and never heard any noise at all.

I had no trouble with management. They were always quick to fix my problems and those of the aforementioned friend, who came home one Sunday evening to find her bathroom flooded. Maintainence was there in fifteen minutes. When I moved in the placed looked brand new and when I moved out I got nearly all of my deposit back - what little they did take out was deserved. The location is good too: I was able to walk to school, the grocery store, friends' apartments, bars, coffee shops, restaurants, et cetera. I felt quite safe there as well.

Admittedly there are a lot of students who live there, so it might not be the best for older folks or non-students, but it's certainly not as bad as some of the reviews on here make it out to be.
