Resident 2020

2/10/2020

For those of you checking these reviews in search of a new place to live, wondering weather you should take up residence here; I'llmake it easy for you: Don't! I'll elaborate for those needing more convincing. I've lived here for about 9 months now and every week it just seems to get worse. Let me begin with the most recent headache this apartment complex has bestowed upon me and it's other tenants. I'm the parking lot of this property lies over 100 covered parking spaces. Easily enough for each unit to have one to themselves. Recently however they've began charging to park under the metal overhangs as a ploy to take more money. Now you may be thinking,"Just park in an uncovered spot." To which i will reply, "THERE ARE A TOTAL OF 15 UNCOVERED SPOTS IN THE LOT. Fought over between 50 different cars mirroring rabid dogs fighting over a scrap of rabbit post apocalypse." The second to most recent reason I will be leaving at the end of my lease came to me around 9am Sunday morning. While most might complain of the small ----- wielding Dodge Charger driver that revs his loud exhaust so everyone knows how cool he is; I was actually more annoyed from being woke up early in a sunday by a couple physically assaulting each other on the grass in front of my apartment while yelling profanities at one another. Sure you may think it was like any other 5 minute dispute between lovers or you could assume the worst which may be a ten round mma fight lasting 30 minutes. Well my dear reader, you'd be wrong. 3 HOURS people. From 9 till noon. To put it in perspective, if I would have be James Cameron's "The Titanic", I would been in the credits by the time they stopped arguing. I think you get the point by now so I won't elaborate on the noisy partying upstairs neighbors, or the children screaming next door through the paper thin walls. No doubt at this point you may be thinking that it doesn't get much worse. And it shouldn't. But it does. The street and neighborhood surrounding the complex is constantly riddled with homeless or just troublesome car owners are greeted in the morning with broken car windows or missing property. Not to mention the ever so often car sitting on four cinderblocks and the rare car missing an engine sitting in the road. Luckily for this paragraph you don't have to believe me, you can check the crime stats for the area and be scared away for yourself. Among all the terrible neighbors, the constant overflowing dumpsters, and the inconsiderate rules put into place; there shines a bright light in the form of the apartments maintenance staff! These guys are on top of it! I've never had a maintenance request open for more than a couple of work days before my needs were met. If it were up to me these two gentlemen would be running the complex and or a Fortune 500 company. Whatever money they are making I can confidently say they are not being paid a fraction of what they deserve as I have never noticed and $250,000 vehicles around. I hope this helped you make an informed decision on whether you would like to move into these apartments and I'll summarize my point for those of you still with me. There are dozens of better apartments within five miles, all within the same price range. I don't even know the people reading this but I can without doubt say that you deserve better than to live here.
