Resident 2013 - 2014

6/18/2014

These apartments are probably the best apartments in the area. Yes, there are lots of papers getting stuffed at your door regarding the care of the property and general courtesies that must be followed for a safe and clean environment, but generally I don't see that as a negative. It shows me that management takes complaints seriously and doesn't just ignore them. The walls are pretty thin and noise can be an issue - but that's to be expected in most, if not all, apartments. Here are the pros and cons of living here (after a year): Pros: -Super easy to get on the highway -Close to a lot of things (mall, grocery stores, cheap gas around the corner, airport, parks) -Super new apartments -NO BUGS YAY!!! -Gorgeous interior with tile flooring and counters -Fairly new appliances that work well -Sylvia is a doll and really cares about her tenants (knows them by name) -Management fixes issues the same day or as early as they can the next day -Well kept grounds -Very spacious apartments with lots of room, love the vaulted ceilings on the third floor -Love love love my patio, it's HUGE -The bathroom and shower are also big and roomy, they have the curved curtain rods -Awesome standard washer and dryers that work well (not sure what the below review was complaining about - the dryer has 3 settings, just increase the setting) -Great natural light as windows are everywhere -Gated community so I feel safe walking to and from my car...you see people walking their dogs and going for a run around the complex -Close to the Park & Ride Cons: -The planes flying overhead can get really annoying and very loud -Parking is a big issue, they have every single spot assigned and guests are asked to park in the nearby shopping center across the street -Thin walls, so you can hear neighbors and couples fighting out in the hallway in the middle of the night...or even your neighbor slamming doors and singing awkwardly in the shower (but the bathrooms seem to be next to each other so thankfully no awkward bedroom sounds) -Far from downtown Houston, but fairly close to Woodlands -Not many nice restaurants around this area, only your generic ones here and there (Chuy's, Olive Garden, Cheddar's, Chili's) -You don't get notified of packages every time, so you'll have to stay on top of when something arrives (a non-issue if you track your packages) Overall, it's a really amazing place to live and I'm sad to move from here (too far from my work). Sylvia and management are very nice and caring. The apartments are new and extremely affordable. I'd recommend this place to anyone that's looking for an apartment in the area.
