I moved here because I did my research and read my reviews and thought I had found the perfect spot. For about 3 months, I had. Unfortunately, management changed and everything went downhill from there. When we were prospective renters the office staff would answer the phone on the first ring; however, once we had signed the lease and called about maintenance requests (often emergencies as the hot water and AC were constantly going out) we could call and email all day and never receive a response. Probably our worst experience was when it was 110 degrees outside (literally) in the summer of 2011 and our AC went out the Thursday night before the Memorial day weekend. We called first thing Friday morning, but since we both work normal 9-5 jobs, maintenance came out and left a note that they had come to check and everything was working fine. It was not. By Saturday morning (yes, we had to stay with family Friday night - and were lucky we had family to stay with) it was 92 degrees in our apartment. This time I walked to the office and was told very rudely that there was nothing they could do until Tuesday. That means they expected us to go without AC for 5 days in 100 degree plus weather. Once we became angry and said that there was no way they could expect that to be a reasonable time for repair, she said the best they could do was put us in a model home. Furthermore, she said that the only difference between that and our HOME was that there wouldn't be TV. So what, she expected us to walk back and forth to get our food and our clothes for 4 days straight?!?! This place will work very hard to make a great first impression but once they've baited you in they are nowhere to be found and have NO customer service. Oh, and if you want to renew your lease be fully prepared for them to ask for a 20% increase in your rent. After you've seen the roaches (giant, and winged), the hot water that works about half the time, and the COUNTLESS AC repairs because they are too cheap to fix it right, there is not a chance you'd even be willing to pay the rate they enticed you with at the beginning. This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in, do not be fooled by the reviews.
