If the maintenance happens in the apartment around you, No notice given to you. Drilling happening over your head, no notice. Reason given by property office "Its not quite hours, we don't owe you a notice". Lucky me I am out of here next week.

    The other negative reviews are true. There are a lot of better rated nicer places to live in this area. Move there, do not move here. Hit and runs and vandalization of cars in the parking lot. Lots of inspections and invasion of privacy. They use a lot of third party contractors that don't have identification, they also do some incredibly sloppy things in your apartment and don't clean up after themselves. This is a letter of the lease place. So don't move here unless you have access to legal counsel and emergency fund if a serious issue comes up. During a serious repair issue the lease says they don't have to tell you anything. Also only the letter and law of the lease is valid, so anything you are told verbally is worth nothing. Combine that with a very adversarial stance towards to residents and you have an expensive hassle of an apartment. Except for a couple people who work on the property they totally need to work on their customer service.       Extremely difficult staff and ownership WESTDALE! Multiple issues with vandalism and even stolen cars right out of the parking lot. These are issues for which are not the apartment complexes concerns and have no interest in trying to help. The MANAGER will not even consider speaking to tenants about their problems unless it is convenient to her. I have lived in apartments before and this is by far the worst one. Stay away!!! Tenants here are willing to vandalize other vehicles and your vehicle could be next. I have heard of many hit and runs in the parking lot as well.

        Do not move here. There are so many problems it is hard to know where start. #1 issue is that they invade your privacy constantly with inspections or lately they schedule "upgrade" projects back to back. The contractors that they hire are not good and unless you are home to keep a watchful eye they break things and leave your apartment a mess. A mess which management expects you the resident to clean up. In the most recent upgrade the workmen sloshed toilet water all over the living room carpet. There are also numerous water shut offs. So if you work from home, don't expect to have water all the time. Yes, maintenance shows up, but can't seem to really fix anything right so it works. You'll spent months calling them in to have your shower have the right water pressure and temperature regulation. Apartments are poorly insulated and sealed so expect to have higher electric bills and hear your neighbors. There are break-ins, and there are break-ins of the mailboxes.           We have lived in TX for 9 years and this is my first time feeling like I need to write one of these. If your looking at Jefferson Creek be ready to pay, pay, and pay some more. You will have your apartment entered at least 6 times per year for outside companies to "inspect something" the problem is they let these companies go unsupervised, and if you have pets you have 24-48 hours to find them someplace ( recommend getting security cams). You will pay $25 for trash $5 for and if you got to see the trash you will ask what are we paying for, it's everywhere. Floors and walls are super thin so you will hear everything your neighbor does. They will send you notices for things like renters insurance and you have 4 days to respond or pay $50 even if you show you have had proper renters insurance that has never changed - if you miss the 4 day deadline you still pay, so don't ever leave town, have a life, or wait for the email they said they will send with instructions (it will end up in junk mail.).             Living at Jefferson Creek was completely horrible. You would think that paying $1300+ month, you was have a peace of mind. I was harassed the entire time of my lease. Never had late rent and never had any altercations with other tenants. The apartment grounds were poorly kept and it unfortunate because the lawn people show up everyday at the crack of dawn. The walls and floors are paper thin, all day and night you could here you neighbor walking, taking and even taking a shower. Also in order to have maintenance come even if it an emergency you must put in a work order via "portal". My apartment flooded twice because they never fixed my toilet properly. I was harassed so much it was as if someone was watching my apartment. They decided not to renew lease but sent my account to collection for a broken lease 30 days after I moved out. How can it be a broken lease if I moved out 2days after my lease was up? The staff is rude and unhelpful. The managers have no compassion and don't follow rules and policies that they have drawn up.

              Worst apartments we have ever lived in and we have rented for the last seven years in various southern states. Honestly. They have break-ins constantly in both bottom floor apartments and cars, and they still want to charge you for every little thing. $50 if you leave anything on your patio, $50 if they come in for an inspection and you don't kennel your pets for the 9+ hours you are gone during the four days they say they MIGHT come in. They split all water charges for the month between the apartments, so even if you are conservative with water, it's $75 a month and I'm used to paying under $20. The management here is absolutely ridiculous and rude. We have called maintenance a countless number of times in our first few months because the garbage disposal keeps breaking, the bathroom pipes leak onto the floor, the blinds are broken, etc. In these supposedly "newly renovated" apartments. Small side note: People walk around outside at night with their small children.                 Pros: Fairly safe and quiet community, relatively inexpensive, ample parking, nice walking path along a creek behind the units. Cons: Trash pickup is unreliable, management very inflexible, extremely tight rent payment window (in some cases 2 business days), units close to the road are very noisy with little insulation. Jefferson Creek is a safe and affordable place to stay for a while. I personally travel M-F and am only in Dallas 1-2 weekends a month, so much of what might bother a regular resident is not an issue for me, especially the road noise from Royal Lane if you select a unit on the street side. That said, there were some significant frustrations in my year at Jefferson Creek. First, on one occasion, an Amazon package was inadvertently left at my door while I was away (for 3 weeks), management absolutely refused to remove the package and hold it in the office (or even throw it away).                   We stayed at Jefferson Creek for close to 2 years. The management team and the staff at this community has been attentive, approachable, always polite and very friendly. They have been really helpful and prompt in taking care of all the requests and concerns raised, we were even diligently followed for our feedback post EACH work completion! The maintenance team is fast and did very good job of attending the work order requests carefully. Apart from Jefferson Creek being so close to all of our favorite stores and restaurants (some even walking distance!), its close to state highways too, making it easier to get to anywhere in the DFW-FW metroplex in minutes. What we enjoyed most in the apartment itself was the great, beautiful view of the creek, felt so close to nature! The apartment had oversized tub, large private patio with gorgeous creek view. The community pool is luxurious and has varying depth. And the hot tub was a great plus for relaxation! Jefferson creek will be our first choice to come back whenever we have an opportunity in future! And I will recommend anyone this apartment.

                    There have been a spate of break-ins in the apartment complex. Earlier management used to send out warnings after every burglary but that seems to have been stopped. Management believes in burying their head in sand. There has been no proactive stance, no actions despite such huge number of thefts. I've heard 10 break-ins in the last few months. If you want to feel secure, do not go by the lake side view.

                      This was my first experience living in the Las Colinas area and Jefferson Creek seemed like a good choice. Yet after moving here it's really noisy due to being close to road and the apartment is old for the price. First month here there was a break in somewhere on the complex and then another 3 since I've been here; so safety is obviously not their thing. The worst thing I've experienced was that they charge for every little issue or change. They say "Welcome Home" when you first sign the contact, yet I've never felt more like not being home while staying there. I paid the $1k cancelation fee, lost all deposits and 85% monthly balance just to get the heck out of there (over 2k). Now o have a great modern apt with awesome staff and complex grounds; all for about $300 less monthly. Advise: Keep Looking and Don't Settle

                        I moved in to Jefferson Creek on September 2014. And I really liked it then. The staff were really good, the landscape was maintained. The maintenance was very good. They always came within couple of hours of calling. It was a nice apartment. But after a year, suddenly everything got changed. The staffs and all the maintenance guys were gone. All new guys are coming. And now if a make a maintenance call, the response comes after 3/4 DAYS. I don't know what happened. It has a great view of the Hackberry Lake. But now it's so dirty with Dog poop that its impossible to go there. My daughter used to love playing there. Now we take a walk in the parking lot. Please Westdale Take Care of Your Properties.

                          Don't get fooled by moving in- 1. Parking lots are filthy making it difficult to move in or out of car 2. Maintenance requests take ages to complete 3. Not worth living here with the amenities they provide. Way too expensive 4. The green on the creek side is filled with mosquitoes and dog poop 5. Manger is absent most of the times (probably scared of speaking to suffering residents)

                            ------ was extremely rude. After giving us a floor plan and price sheet, she folded it back and handed it to me. When I asked more questions she repeated the process expecting us to just leave. It wasn't until we asked if they had anything to view that we were rudely informed they didn't have a single apartment to show. I may not be able to describe how rude it was but if you treat a potential customer that poorly, how bad do they treat you after becoming a resident?

                              I have read so many reviews that too all bad but wanted to really check whether tha apartment is really bad..and yes my friends getting in the office and talking to one of the lady in the office proved all . She had really no atticates to speak to the customer who has come to see the apartment.I asked 2 questions -is the apartment available?which floor can i get?? thats it and she started getting irritated and said me why are you getting on me by asking questions??? OMG wat kind of management is there???Is this the behaviour of the lady?? I wanted to give her reply with the same attitude but i thought to ignore and why to lower my standard..Right ? So i moved out saying Thank you!!! So please think before you go there...

                                When I first moved here in March 2013, the leasing agents at the time dropped the ball on putting a strobe fire alarm in my unit. Prior to that, they tried to argue with me stating that it was my responsibility until I provided them with ADA guidelines that it is there responsibility. Eventually they installed the device. Management changed and things started going down hill, trash onsite, full garbage cans, no poop bags for dogs and unnecessary patio inspections. The straw that broke the camel's back happened Friday when I arrived home from work to pick up my package from the office and they were CLOSED at 4pm in the afternoon!! Lunch break!? Seriously? Just because you're short staffed, makes no difference.. Get your business together. Upon arriving HOME, I unlocked my unit, walked in and saw that my furniture had been moved, 3 buckets in the living room and a big leak in the ceiling. NOBODY INFORMED ME. They're trying to blame the tenant above me for "leaving the faucet running" when they admitted they had to shut off the water.                                   These apts SUCK they nickle and dime you for everything! The walls are so thin u can hear the neighbors flush the toilet. The parking sucks if you get home late like i do, prepare to walk a mile home. There are always made up inspection just so they come into your apt. There are NO maintenance men that can actually fix anything there been a hole in my ceiling for well over a month and they are in no rush to fix it. The apt staff is RUDE i have only seen the manager a hand full of times and its always an attitude my water is frequently shut off without notice. The office staff take lunch whenever and come back whenever they want. I had to get a p.o. box to recieve my package because they get mad when they actually have to do some work in the office i have been here only about 8 months and im counting DOWN UNTIL MY LEASE IS UP.                                     They suck..... They charge for everything. They will hound you for a charge they just made up and try to charge you a late fee. They lost my package and were really nasty about it. I had to take my package as a lost and my money. The ladies have bad attitudes and aren't friendly at all. I can not wait until my lease is up! Very frequently there's a bulletin coming out about someone's apartment or car getting broke into. They have all these inspections just so they can come in your apartment when you aren't home.

                                      Would not recommend to anyone. Staff inspects your apartment on a regular basis and tells you to clean up your apartment like you're in a college dorm. My car has been broken into at the complex. Maintenance is pretty good at getting to your issue within the week. When moving out, was billed to put in new carpet, and new hard top counters that I apparently damaged after living there for 6 years. Towards the end, it felt like they were doing nothing but trying to get me out of the apartment. SWAT team has been on my floor once to arrest someone, and have had fire alarms go off for no reason multiple times. I have had relatives and friends move into these apartments only to leave as soon as they could because of these same issues. I stayed because of financial issues and could not afford to move at the time. I moved out at the end of 2013, and could not be happier.

                                        Very old complex with no insulation resulting in it sounding like elephants above you and $350 electric bills when keeping the thermostat below 68 degrees. Management did nothing to fix these issues. If you have extra money to throw away and some heavy duty ear plugs this is the place for you.

Apartments are very old.They authority always try to find excuses to charge fines.looks like a company run with residents fine Apartment Stuffs are not friendly.when i moved out they charged me 600 dollars for unnecessary reasons.                                               PLEASE DON'T LIVE HERE...The apartments staff are very Rude.The apartment manager --------------- is one of the worst people i came across. They don't know how to talk with residents. Don't even think about moving to this apartments.Be ready to pay more fines.More Bed bugs apartments are not clean at all.In my life i never seen such a rude management people.It is not a safe place to leave.Me and my friend both had a bad experience and they screwed all my credit history.In my life last one year in Jefferson Creek Apartments was worst.I hate this apartments..This is my advice please don't live here

                                                  I never write reviews but I feel like I need to warn others NOT to choose these apartments as your home. The management is horrible. I have been living here for 3 years and this past year, I had re-signed my lease early. The new lease terms took affect May 1, 2013. Well I called the office May 6 (not even a week after my new lease term started) and advised them due to a major life event that I would have to move out. I asked them if they would consider me not breaking my lease since the new lease barely started 5 days prior. They kept giving me the run around for 2 weeks also telling me that the manager was NEVER available and then finally I had to go in the office only for them (not the manager) to tell me that I would need to pay all the fees. Ok, so I break the lease and move out. Not only did I myself clean the apartment twice but my Mother also cleaned it as well. So it got cleaned 3 times.
