I have lived at Mission for a year now, I am hesitant to write a review without knowing how the staff is over a significant period of time. But please to tell you that my experience at Mission at La Villita has been pleasant. Hayli was how helped me get set up with my apartment. She was very helpful and made accommodations to help me get into the right place with everything I needed, down to changing apartments and providing amenities last minute. The apartments are clean and I have never had a problem with bugs. The community is quiet for the most part, there are children that play outside in the evenings, but are not loud and don't stay out late. The property is well maintained with lawn care, and the access to a lake with a nice walking trail around it is a big plus. The maintenance staff has always been helpful and timely. If I needed something it was takin care of. I had an issue with my thermostat (not the actual ability to get cold) that was they could not resolve so they called in an A/C technician at no cost to me to fix the issue. Over the year I have had no complaints with getting hold of a helpful employee or being relayed information. I recently worked with Karla in the front office to get my thermostat issue resolved and ask questions about my renewal. She was a big help and worked with Hayli to get me the fix and information I needed in a timely manner. I give it five stars as a rating but let's be fair just like anything nothing is perfect. There have been times where I was annoyed with neighbors and parking and trash collection, it's not always sunshine and rainbows. But most of that is outside the staff's control. Based on my assessment I have renewed because there are many places I have lived that have been nice but had a rude/difficult staff to work with. If you are looking for a place that will treat you well, this is a good option for you. My renewal was handled fairly, and not grossly inflated (I have been robbed on renewals before - so an increase at a reasonable rate was a breath of fresh air). This apartment seems to value their property and residents and I would recommend at least coming by to experience it for yourselves.
