Resident 2012

8/6/2012

I've lived there for one year and have had problems from the very beginning. The office staff changes on a regular basis and many of them shouldn't have been working in a customer service industry. The apartments are old and offer no amenities (no fitness center, business center, playground, etc.) except the pool. I've had to have the exterminator come on a regular basis. There is a lot of foot traffic and cars that pass through the apartments because they use it as a pass-through to access Estrada Road. There is also an apartment that sells marijuana. The tenants are ALWAYS outside on their patio so their customers can see that they are open for business. The grounds are always littered with trash and at least one shopping cart. They are in the process of what they consider remodeling (replacing floors and cabinets), but that does not improve the single pane windows, poor insulation, roaches, bad roads, doors that don't close, no ceiling fans or light fixtures in the bedrooms, and the thin floors and walls that enable you hear to EVERYTHING your neighbors do from walking to flushing the toilet. Several tenants take allow their dogs outside without a leash. Did I mention the apartments are next to a cemetery? Many apartments look out onto the graveyard. The only I reason I moved here was because the rent was low (665 for a 2/2), but now the rent is increasing nearly $200. I'm moving just as soon as I can!
