Currently residing here, big mistake. I came into the new apartment to the inside of the cupboards looking like someone blew up popcorn butter in them and black mold on a shelf. Crayon marks on the back screen door from the last persons kid who lived here, a dishwasher that barely seals and the top rack broken and distorted, the refrigerators seals are torn and one of the door shelves was missing a bar to hold items on it, the electrical outlets are so used they don't hold the plug in themselves, a sloppy paint job to cover issues with the walls from the last resident and the terrible putty job the maintenance person did to patch holes on the sheet rock which you can see in plain view through the paint which has been layered on, instead of fixing issues they clearly just Jerry rig the problem and hope it doesn't come up again. A week after moving in the toilet wouldn't stop running, after a month the shower won't stop running and there are other things that make this plainly obvious such as the second deadbolt on the front door that doesn't even work and is sealed shut from the layers of primer paint caked on it. And when you bring these issues up to the office they give you a look and a vibe as though they think you did it and then when they're fixing them they won't tell you they are doing things such as shutting your water off at ten in the morning on a Tuesday, then when you go to complain you need to be at work etc., they tell you it's not their problem and they don't have to tell you the water is being shut off. The office manager Marion of la casa specifically is an absolute terror to deal with, always copping an attitude no matter how pleasant you attempt to be with her. These apartments are a nightmare
