We are building a house in Lockhart and had to temporarily move into an apartment. First of all, we had to constantly call the front office just to get the apartment. We turned in our applications and they never bothered to call us for an apartment. When we moved in the microwave was broken (which they apparently knew about), the dishwasher was clogged and smelled of sewage. The AC went out the second night we were there. The place was filthy as if they didn't care to even touch the place to clean before we moved in. My last straw with this place was when they were doing surprise inspections! After they had already done inspections in the past three weeks. I was in bed with my 6 month old, maintenance pounds on the door, and before I had enough time to get out of my bed there are four people in the apartment. Instead of being professional and possibly say, we can come back in a few minutes they just did what they came to do. I went to my room and closed my door to get my son and one of the maintenance people knocked and just opened my door. What's the point of knocking then? I realize that it's an apartment but it's also someone's home. Then I was told, well we left a note. I fully understand that but when you don't even give 5 seconds for someone to open the door and then just remain in the apt....it's very unerving. Especially when I have a 6 month old who was trying to go down for a nap. It's been nothing but problems here. And the woman at the front office is very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
