My experience has not been great. While I like the apartment and love the location. The office staff has been a major headache. When we moved in we had so many issues. Office staff would not effectively and clearly communicate. We had to show up or call in (and call like 5-10 times to get to a real person). On the list of issues when we moved in our apartment was not ready on move in day till after 5pm. We weren't even told that we couldn't move in to our apartment on our move in day till less than 24 hours before we were set to move in, we had to schedule a 3pm move in time, only for our apartment not to be ready. Then when we moved in a bunch of stuff was not given to us (mailbox keys, pool bands, wifi, and more). I have had to micromanage the staff on our renters insurance. Even though I verified before we moved in that it was good. I have had to call in and micromanage the staff every month. Going on 10 months now and I have been asking . The staff is bad at responding to emails. I really like this place and I think the new manager is cleaning a lot up. I really do like that they have made the dog poop better and the trash in the hallways less nasty, however someone on the 3rd floor of the 5th building did dump cat poop down the stairs which was so nasty at the start of Memorial Day weekend and there wasn't a way to reach the maintenance or staff about since it technically wasn't an emergency. But when you have such a bad move in like we did, all the little things pile on and its very frustrating. I am about to contact the parent company. Maintenance also takes a long time to respond. They also seem inefficient. For example if I put in 2 or 3 work orders they will come to fix one problem only, not all of them. And I am not talking about huge issues, simple things. If you did all 2 or 3 at the same time you would be more efficient and work faster as you wouldn't be going back and forth so much

    I would not live here till they fire Azia and Annie and get someone in the office who cares about making it a wonderful living experience. They are never busy in the office and I have found them giggling on the phone or doing nothing. They obviously don't have a move in process or checklist and you will need to babysit them and micromanage them. Prepare for it be a part time job. We have had a horrible move in. Currently we are over a week from all maintenance requests we put in outside of the emergency maintenance request. However I do see the maintenance guys working hard so I know they are busy. However we still dont have a working kitchen (broken microwave and missing 2 drip pans) However the office staff has been horrible. We weren't allowed into our apartment on move in day till after 5pm because it wasn't ready. They didn't even tell us anything till the day before we moved in. We didn't have the promised wifi for over 48 hours and still haven't received the cable part of the package. I keep having to go in, call, and email because they will only tell you part of the what they need and not the whole story so it makes for worse issues. We didn't have our mail box keys on move in day and I had to go in and request them. I am exhausted at this point and almost 6 months pregnant and super stressed. The office staff have made this a very hostile feeling move in and like we are on our own and the Soho and Berkshire promise has been broken.
