The worst rental experience ever. I lived at Mission Ranch for a year. I could not wait for my lease to be up. I lived on the second floor, the apartment was poorly insulated so my apartment was extremely cold in the winter not to mention my heating and air conditioning system would break down every other month. In the winter it would either blow cold air so I would have to use the oven to keep the apartment heated or it would over heat to where it got to be 98 degrees in the apartment. The maintenance crew couldn't figure out how to repair it, so I had to wait until they hired an out side company to fix it. Then the outside
sprinkler on my balcony broke which was right next to my closet every item that was on the floor of my closet got soaking wet. Wait it doesn't end there 3 days later without any notification an outside contracter that they sent to replace the carpet in my closet cut holes into the ceiling wall area to get to the pipes, I came home from work to find dry wall dust and debris all over my clothing and items that were hanging up and on the shelves. Then comes summer, again the system would breakdown at one point it was 97 degrees inside my apartment and when I went to complain the maintence guy had the nerve to tell me that it was 105 degrees outside and according to Texas law there can be a 10 degree difference between the temperature outside and the temperature inside my apartment!!!! Here are a list of some more issues
Balcony view: what view! my apartment was in the back so people would
let their dog poop back there, the stench and sight of poop would prevent you from sitting on your balcony.
Ants: they have a serious infestation of tiny red ants, that got into
everything. I had to purchase plastic containers to put all of my bulk
food items in them. Zip Lock bags didn't work. The ants would some
how get inside between the zip that's how tiny they were.
Complaints were made however the answer given was we spray for
Insects every Wednesday. Why shouId you have to pay for pest
Control If you have to buy your own ant traps.
Gym: only one treadmill worked and the machines were old and broken
They had no hand sanitizer or sanitizer to wipe the machines down
after each use. Gross!
Leaky: sinks and toilets.
Safty: gates were always broken
COLLECTIONS AGENCY : keep in mind I have never been late on my rent even though I was fed up them. I gave my 30 days notice letting them know I would not be renewing my lease. 11/29/14 Two days prior to my final move out date I went to turn in my keys and asked did I owe any balance I was told that the system was down and that they would get back to me after they walked the apartment which they would do in a couple of days. TWO WEEKS later I made a follow up phone call asking was everything ok do I have a balance the response was the system is still down I'm so sorry we have your contact information so we will get back to you. January 12, 2015 I get a bill from a collections agency stating that I owe $183.00!!! Are you kidding me when I called the office the only excuse they could give were that the ladies who were there did not follow through on their paper work and they aren't working their anymore. However all of my contact information including my new address were in my file!! So you couldn't contact me or mail my damn bill!! DO NOT RENT FROM ADVINEER AT MISSION RANCH don't let the pictures fool you like it did me. It's poorly built and shabby every thing breaks and the new management is the worst. They only care about how many units they can rent and keeping their occupacncy up.
