I've lived here for a year (this was my first apartment) and I had a great experience. The main person on staff you deal with, Sarah, is VERY nice and EXTREMELY helpful. Any maintenance issues were resolved within the same day- or if it was reported late night, the next day. I don't own a car, but there are constantly open parking spaces. There's only like 5 or 6 washers and 6 dryers, but when I did my laundry at night there's usually a few free machines. I'd usually get e-mails from Sarah about anything that required my notice, such as when someone would be entering my apartment. I met the owner once and he was very nice. When I went to pay rent he invited me inside and gave me a bottle of water (it was on a hot summer day). There's another guy on staff who I've only dealt with once. He seems like the a-hole everyone mentions, but the one time I dealt with him he was pretty helpful. He drives a huge black truck and usually parks it in front of my apartment, sometimes taking up 2 spaces.
My rent is $650/mo for a 1BR Studio with all utilities paid. I'd always believed this to be quite overpriced, as one of their main attractions is being so close to campus. If you read reviews from other apartments in the area they seem like a NIGHTMARE (horrible maintenance, lazy staff, rude staff, overpriced electric/utiity bils etc.) I've had a great experience and great service here, so I'm beginning to believe the extra few bucks a month is well worth not having to deal with the same problems as the other apartments in the area.
