    This place was easy to move into but they are shady after you move out. They charged me for not returning a trash can (something that was never in my apartment) and said I "scratched" the counter tops and charged me $125 to replace them. I added a photo below. They billed me over $800 after I moved out. I emailed corporate and I felt they were understanding until they ignored my request to pay a lower amount, which I told them I firmly feel I responsible for. They said they would look into it on January 11. On March 13 they responded saying the bill went up because of an error they made, and they have yet to answer why they did not respond for over two months. I've reported Greystar to the BBB. Don't live here.

      I've been here for just shy of a year now, and my girlfriend and I have enjoyed it just fine. The Front staff has always been super down to Earth people that are there to assist and aid in any fashion possible. Rent has always been affordable especially compared to many other places in the vicinity, and it really is good for what you're paying for. We've had a flea issue before (even though we don't have animals) and a pest control was shortly out to resolve the issue. It's a good place to live and once more the staff has been amazingly helpful.

        I moved in about 3 weeks ago and i was blown away by the office team. So many people ready to help me and the leasing process was easy as hell! I really didn't have to do anything but show up for my keys on move in day! The girls had already set it up to have my electric, my insurance, even my mail transferred this new apartment for me! I've rented before and it was nothing like this that's for sure! The apartment is spacious and really clean. The neighbors I have met have all been really nice and helpful. I cant wait to go to these resident events they keep telling me about. I haven't had any issues finding parking near my building which is a huge plus! I easily feel at home here. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment!

          5 years, management continuously changes. And it seems they continue to just get poorer and poorer. The people living in them are trashy and the management do not care. There is trash all over the apartment grounds. No one picks up after their animals, and if you have an animal they get mad if you don't walk them in the designated area, but if you do, you'll step in dog feces. Don't waste your time paying for covered parking, they don't enforce the tow policy. People park in my spot all the time from their workers to random people. Last night I returned from grocery shopping and had to have a woman move her car. She got out of her car to yell and swear at me. I informed her that she was in my spot that I pay for, she didn't care. Why should she, there was no threat of her getting towed anyway because even if you call the tow company they have to have approval from the office, that was closed.             I have been living here for over 2 years and I have yet to have a problem that has caused me to want to leave. There have been minor issues, but maintenance have come and taken care of it. The only thing that is hard (If you get home late in the evenings like I do) is parking. If you don't pay for a covered parking spot, at times it may be difficult to find a spot if you get back after 930. Also, the office staff is so friendly and are willing to help you out if you are in need! Haven't had any problems with the office staff.

              I had a wonderful experience connecting with the staff they are very friendly and helpful. The maintenance guys were very quick to fix the problem and the only confusing part is the trash folks sometimes my trash don't get to pick up and it's attracting flies and bugs to my apartment and I wish there lights in the living room and the bedrooms. Anyway I love everything else about the apartment and the staff the neighborhood are so nice and friendly.

                My boyfriend and I just moved out after living here together for two years. The neighborhood is nice and quiet as there are a lot of families in the area. It is close to a lot of good shopping areas like Northeast Mall, Kroger, Walmart, and Aldi's. Maintenance was always fantastic, we had one major problem with the AC when we first moved in. It took a few weeks to get it straightened out. The AC and heat have worked wonderfully ever since. Other than that one issue everything else was always fixed same day. The maintenance team is fantastic. That being said the oven in our apartment was quite frankly DANGEROUS which tells me it is very cheap. When cooking in the oven or on the stove the surface would always get dangerously hot. It is a good thing we didn't have children at the time. We could never cook anything without the smoke alarm going off. We even had an issue where some of the rubber sealant around the oven door fell into the oven and it caught fire!                   I've been here for one year now and the management and how they run things need aprovement cause we kept keeping pet noice about us not picking up after our dog when we were and half the peopl here don't pick up after their animals cause every morning we step in numbers of piles of dog crap and they don't keep up with refilling the doggie bags that often either but other then that I like it so far

                      The staff at this location is so friendly and hardworking! They seem to really want to help the residents and are always smiling and having a good time as a team. I love how they offer so many resident events. The last location I was at hardly ever had any events. You can tell the new staff really wants to turn things around. Maintenance requests are promptly completed and the complex has never looked more welcoming! I was having an issue and the assistant manager was so patient and understanding with me. Really good experiences here!

                        I moved here in March. So far it has been really nice. The apartment is really spacious and the complex in general is well maintained. The administration is really nice and they are really helpful. I am really satisfied so far with everything here. My neighbors are loud, but nothing out of control.

Pros -Desiree was super nice and helpful, unfortunately no longer with us. -Nice showerheads -Awesome and fast maintenance men! - Pay rent online Cons: MODEL LOOKS AMAZING, BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU GET! (HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED) -Cabinets has holes, some water damage and surface damage.(Totally Noticeable) -Paint and patchwork is horrible. You can tell where the holes are at in the wall. Also paint was not applied evenly. Sloppy job. -Bathtubs was not Acid wash, they decided to paint over the tubs. I've sat on the edge of the tub, I've gotten paint on my pants. Also paint gets stuck on my bar of soap. Its hard to clean the bathtubs. Its been 3 months and still don't care to fix it. -Carpet matted and have cut out pieces(I guess it's cheaper than to change out the carpet lol) -ROACHES!!                             I've only lived at 8500 Harwood for about a year, but I'm already planning on renewing my lease. This is a great complex! I love all of the events that the staff plans for the tenants here. I have had a few maintenance requests but nothing out of the ordinary. As soon as I call the office, maintenance usually gets out there within the same day! I have referred a few friends to live here too, so I love having my friends live near me! The girls I've dealt with in the office have all been really nice to me.

                              This is the first apartment I have ever lived in with my boyfriend and we love it! It's cheap, has wonderful staff and you get a pretty big space. You're not gonna find a better deal in this area. They are older apartments, but they are pretty clean. You can request pest control weekly if you want and I really haven't had a problem with them. Just keep your apartment clean and call for pest control and you'll be fine. The ladies in the office really are helpful and make everything really inviting. The walls are kind of thin so you can hear neighbors, but honestly nothing to complain about.

                                  This is the best apartment complex. I have lived here for almost 6 years with my sister. The new management is wonderful! Thank god they took over. All of girls in the office are outstanding! Very caring and helpful staff. Service team is there when you need them and they fix it right the first time.                                       This apartment is more affordable than most, and for a place this cheap you get rooms with surprisingly large space and decent condition. It's a good deal. What really shines here is the staff. The landlords went above and beyond for me when I was in trouble. They treated me like a human being, instead of a commodity, and that's the best thing a landlord can do.

                                        This apartment complex stole money from me! My wife and I looked at their apartments in 11/2015 and put down a deposit with all the fees. Over the course of several months, they kept switching their stories on extra fees and at one point told us we couldn't move in. After all of this, I just wanted my $300 deposit back. I had to argue with them about the a portion contract which states that if I could not move in, I would get my deposit back. They told me it would take 30 days and it has now been 3 months. I have documentation stating that I would be receiving $200.00 (yes $200 not the $300 I paid), but when I talked to the manager, they falsified documentation stating that we just chose not to live there, thus forfeiting our deposit. Other than that, I've tried calling them and getting no answer or call backs. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life!

                                          Do not rent from 8500 Harwood. I leased an apartment last spring. Moved in and no problems. Got engaged and got married mid April. I gave my 60 days notice March first as my lease was up May 1. I had scheduled to have a local Women's shelter pick up a lot of furniture and kitchen goods on 4-29. While there,I went ahead and cleaned and turned in my keys. When I went in the office to turn in my keys, there was a young, dark haired lady with a lot of tattoos working at one of the desks. She asked if she could help me and I asked if it would be ok to turn in my keys a couple of days early. She said no problem so I did. I had had no issues before and wasn't even in my apartment for four months. Last week I received what I thought would be my deposit minus some water bills and all.                                             This has by far been the worst place that me and my family has ever lived. The roaches are terrible and they have done a horrible job trying to get rid of them. We had a kitchen drawer break and they fixed the rail for drawer with a blinds bracket. Last week our A/C went out and the first time they came to fix all they did was replace the filter. Ten days later they still hadn't fixed it. We came home yesterday to a tiny window unit put in the master bedroom with a note saying that this should be enough to take care of our 900 sq. ft. apartment. Find somewhere else to live trust me you will thank me.

                                              Osha Franklin I lived there over 4 years and each year it harder and harder to get them to come in and make repairs on the apartment. They have you fill out the repair sheet and not all had been taken care of. Then the other repairs had never got done and began to get worse. Suppose to have gotten a carpet clean for renuing my lease, never did. Even though they charge to come in a spray for bugs, I only received it twice. Not every three months. The roaches had started to get so bad my kids was afraid that they was going to crawl in their ears. My refrigerator had stated developing mold then I found out the refrigerator was no good.
