I came today at 1 pm for a scheduled tour. I was not expected obviously,

When I got into the office, the girl at the desk was not too pleased to have to take care of me obviously. I had to ask if I could sit , she wouldn't offer(I am 70 years old, total lack of respect) She was rude and I was bothering her. She showed me 2 apartments but would stand , saying nothing while I was visiting and looking at the place. Not a smile during the whole process. I have received two emails a day since I scheduled that tour, all advertising for the wonderful team that would show me the property, they were so excited to see me..Well, I didn't see the professionals they afvertise for...then, I am not going to advertise for Bentley Place , believe me , this girl shouldn't be at the front desk. She doesn't want people to rent apartments there, that's for sure. She answered my questions on a tired tone, like a robot, not showing me the best points of the property nor the advantages of wanting to live there.       My first impression of this community was extremely satisfying. It was quiet, grounds clean and the staff members I encountered were top notch. Leasing agent Samantha W, was both professional and super caring with regarding to my choices. One of her coworkers was very helpful when she needed him. Also, encountered a maintenance who was apparently on call and ready to resolve whatever the issues were at that time, The process was smooth and speedy. I excited about living at Bentley Place at Willow Bend.

        0 STARS!! There is much to say about this property, not good at all. To keep it to the main point. ----, the property manager is not helpful in the slightest. She is rude, a liar, and unprofessional. If a concern is brought to her attention, she shows no interest in helping, or if it is a work order, it is closed out as completed when nothing was done or it was done half way. Her manager style is no surprised as to why even the other workers are lazy or rude themselves when all you are trying to do is get what you are paying for. It got to the point to where every conversation had with the Front Office was recorded because they would lie about it later. Going higher up the chain is no help either, the Gaines Property managers are no better themselves; the difference is they pretend to care and then do nothing about it.             for a 1 bedroom with a garage.Upon walk thru with the leasing Consultant Sarah,who was very nice thru the process of answering my questions prior to approval; I noticed a few things that made me rethink my entire decision as picking this apartment complex as my home. The front entry tile is clearly lifted,If I wanted to I can just pick up the tile. The bathroom tile looks like it hasn't been caulked after the previous tenant moved out and walking thru the kitchen to the laundry area I noticed a small roach. I killed it and noticed 2 more on the wall. Pest control was done prior to my move in however live bugs should not be walking around freely if pest control was done on lets say Wednesday and I moved in Saturday,Dead bugs would be deemed normal.I'm not saying they did'nt spray prior to my move in date however Someone in the building may be bit uncleanly.               Other than my apartment being HAUNTED, (no joke) it's not a bad place to live. Close to lots of entertainment, the grounds are usually well kept (there's a grounds crew that comes out once or twice a week), the staff are usually helpful. I have a maintenance issue that hasn't been Dealt with since I moved in 5 years ago despite repeated requests. The biggest annoyances are that residents don't really seem to care about the property or obey the rules. They leave trash out on days when trash isn't picked up, they refuse to toss trash INTO the dumpster and constantly leave it, plus mattresses, couches, furniture, all around the dumpster so you can't get to it. The pool closes at 10:00 but people have stayed out there till 2:30 in the morning sometimes, and there's no way to call security because the office insists that you can do so through the voicemail on the office phone, which you can't. So you have to call the cops. As for me, my neighbors are NOISY. I can hear the old man upstairs ------------ and he stomps around like a friggin cow. Repeated calls to the office have been ignored.                 This apartment the best local neighborhood. But i'm not recommend Bentley Place. I thank this apartment have not policy about together living. (Night noise takes the biscuit) but i only lived the apartment because my kid's school. The staff also kind without the Mexican, Asian.

                  Plz STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, I have lived there for three years. The leasing staff is very rude, mind it they will be different when you first visit them to sign the lease but the real face you will see as soon as you are about to end the lease. BELIEVE ME, DO NOT Trust them, if you have old appliances then get them replaced before you end your lease, get all your appartment fixed, else they will charge you the price of new one in move out charges.                     The Manager Lori is awesome! Lori is attentive, an excellent listener and professional in her managerial problem solving skills. She is also classy and down to earth! Hannah, the leasing director is also very professional and is concerned about the residents. The rest of the staff is friendly and professional as well. I am well pleased that I chose to move into this community. The grounds are always well kept (I am a stickler for cleanliness) and the apartments are spacious and well kept.                       I've been a resident at Bentley Place since August 2017. Very nice community. I have re-signed my lease for another year. The leasing professionals, as well as the maintenance professionals, are expedient, helpful and attentive. I've never experienced any major issues here. Quick to address even the smallest issue, should you experience any. My neighbors are great, too! The location is excellent, right off of the Dallas North Tollway and so convenient to shopping, dining, movies, medical facilities and much more. Nice, quiet, clean community. You will be taken care of!

                        The management team are very mean and rude. They always find excuses to proof that there is nothing wrong at their side. Take an example, the gate has stopped working for months, their excuse is the gate is old and hard to fix, so we need and must be patient to wait until they can fix it. That LMAO, if they already know it is old, why not replace it??? Until its totally not working and then tell us, since its old, it is a normal thing for them to spend months before they can make it work again. Absolutely NO customer obsession!!! They only care your payment, nothing else!!! BE AWARE to move here, you will need to face the ridiculous Representative. especially their manager .

                          RENTER BEWARE! The ONLY upside to living at Bentley Place is the location. You will be situated minutes away from all the things you will need such as Krogers, Tom Thumbs, Trader Joes as well as a movie theatre and children activities. We moved in site unseen because we were coming from out of state. We received pictures of an apartment that had the same blue print as the one we would be moving into before hand so we felt secure with the decision to sign the lease. We called the office to let them know the date in which we would be arriving. As soon as we walked into the apartment we noticed that it had not been cleaned, maintenance left tools on the counter, one of our kitchen cabinets looked as though it had been kicked in, another cabinet was coming off the hinges, the inside of the cabinets were old and disgusting. In addition there was urine in one of our bathrooms on the rim of the bathroom seat.                               This place is not safe at all. It is supposed to be a luxury gated community but the gates do not work at all. There are burglaries and thefts every month at this place. This is not supposed to happen in West Plano. The approve applicants of questionable character, and that is why there are thefts and burglaries here. I do not feel safe at all, hence why i am moving. expect your car to be broken your mail to be stolen from the front the front office not to care. The front desk girl Sarah, is very rude, loud and impolite. She needs to learn some customer service. Maintance team is good. They respond quickly to requests. Cliff, DC, Tre, are really good.Very polite and professional. Perhaps Sarah can learn something from them. The apartments are very old. Paint chipping on doors, carpet strips peeling off, pool that doesnt work.

                                I am a current resident and I have worst experiences with bentley place. First they did not fix my bathroom right which had leak problems and they did not replace with a new one. They replaced with something which they have already discarded. There are marks in the commode with dirt which would not go. Then the vent fan made such a big noise and they (hannah and one another lady who sits at the front desk) barged in to my home saying the neighbors had big trouble and dictated us to not to use the vent fans. Now this night we had a leak in the kitchen due to the drain and our kitchen is flooded with water and the emergency maintenance phone line would not answer because they dont care if the residents are having a problem. My true experience they have discrimination as well. Please think wise before choosing here.

                                  I recently Transfered to a new unit in October. Starting in December i turned in work request to adress toilet overflowing. Still not fixed ! January i had issues with water puddling on windows & water & wind coming in through all of my windows. I was basically told it was my fault because the temp was warmer inside than outside. I have had to move my bed into my living room to be warm. I am a Survivor of Domestic Abuse & the office is refusing to let me out of my lease even though i have contacted FBI about threats! Regardless. The unprofessionalism of the staff in at an all time high. They are refusing to fix anything in my unit & i am being told there is nothing wrong with my windows or anything else. I had mold under my kitchen sink for months before they finally fixed. I have Called Plano for Code Enforcement to inspect my unit. I cant wait to get out of here!                                     We have lived here around seven years, this year finally we moved to a new location. Thank you, God, truth are very disappointed this place five years ago, the front gate doesn't work, never to run for five years, you can believe that? they tried to steal my car twice thanks grating which "protects" the place doesn't work, pool has nearly eight months without running the recreation area is closed, there is no swimming pool and we rented this place with pool, gym is a waste, no fu equipment nciona, the only laundry has 4 washing machines in very poor condition and are small, departments are very old and as a result all the time is breaking something, like the microwave, tub, dishwasher, air conditioning, internal leaks etc. not be what happens with benty place that fall day is in decline. nothing advisable to rent on this place.

                                        I've lived here for the past two years and love it for so many reasons: . The proximity to restaurants, shops, Cinemark, and grocery stores . The charm of the apartments themselves . It's quiet and safe . Friendly and timely maintenance . The office staff -- Everyone I've spoken with over my two years of living here have been just wonderful. They're friendly, helpful, and positive. I most often get Hannah when I call, and she is such a delight. I definitely recommend living here and will miss it (I'm moving into a house).

                                          I have been a resident at Bentley Place since 2013. The location is perfect and I could not be more pleased with management and the maintenance team!! The apartment layout is perfectly designed. Crown modeling gives it a luxury feel. Very nice pool and workout facility. Plus they have a sauna!!

Bentley Place is very close to a lot of the different shops and restaurants in the Plano area which is also a plus!

                                              We have been leasing a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with an attached garage for 3 years now. The complex is located in a prime location accessible to the dallas tollway, great school district ( PISD school district ) and pet friendly. The current staff is truly committed to resolving our concerns and are responsive when needed. Their corteous maintenance technician Cleo is experienced and best of all tidy after every work performed at our apt. Lori the apts manager has taken the time to follow up with us to ensure work orders for maintenance have been completed to our satisfaction. Overall we enjoy living here it's a clean quiet apartment community with plenty of parking. Our home sweet home!
