I moved to Plano for a short term job assignment and lived at legacy village. That was one of the biggest mistakes I have made this year. The office staff rarely answers the phone so it is incredibly hard to get move-in stuff going. They lost our original applications for lease and we had to repeat them (approximately 10 pages long). At move in, my roommate moved in a couple days before me and they claimed they gave her my keys when she moved in. They had not and would not give them to me until another staff member could talk with us. She of course, was off for a couple days so I had to rely on my roommate to be able to come in and out of the apartment that was already being paid for. We put in work orders that took well over a week. After they were done the small problem still wasn't fixed. The elevator frequently didn't work and it was always filthy. They had a keyless faab to get into the building for security but the majority of our time living there it didn't actually work. So we were paying for a broken security system. One day neither of our faabs would work. We went to talk with the staff and they had deactivated them. They had no reason to do so. We had paid our rent on time and they were not paying attention to what they were doing. They lost our move out form that was signed and dated for our move out date and when I mentioned my roommate had already signed one she said oh well he is wrong and basically claimed he lied to me. After much time and an incredibly rude staff member later they shockingly found the original and she never apologized for claiming he lied. They completely messed up our move out date 3 times even though they were well informed of our move out date before we even moved in. They charged us a ton of extra money because they kept changing the date. A number of the staff are absolutely terrible at math. I had to help them figure out rent on more than one occasion because they were trying to charge me incorrectly. The majority of the staff is incredibly arrogant. They seem to feel that since this is Plano they can act live snobby people. Customer service people should be kind and helpful. They regularly acted like they were better than me. This apartment had so much potential. Having lived in multiple apartments before, I can easily say I way over paid for the services I received, and this was the worst apartment experience I have ever had. I honestly would not recommend living here to anyone.
