Mold, No insulation, Unfriendly Community

Witnessing drug activity at night, hearing my neighbors intimacy and mold issues is not what I expected when moving into this property. Location is not worth loss of sleep and safety. Reconsider and look elsewhere especially for how high the charge.

    My apartment is convenient for work and getting to other places quickly. Other than the noise above me (yes I chose first floor) (but do they really need to move furniture or bowl every night), the street light outside my window (blackout curtains do not work) and overflowing dumpsters; it’s fine

      The touring experience was attractive. I was shown a clean and spacious apartment that was available. However, the process has been a hassle since making the deposit. Even after moving in, it has not been smooth. Hope to have better experiences moving forward.

        It’s nice community with spacious apartment houses. But recreational options are extremely limited and gym space is also limited. But for someone who likes Sunshne-Proper ventilation, Modern homes can always choose Cortland Canyon Creek.

We are excited to share that our co-working space located at Building 1 is now officially open for resident use. At this time, the only amenity space closed is our clubhouse, which is in the final stages of completion. Our fitness center does offer multiple varieties of equipment ranging from incline treadmills, leg extension/curl machines, recumbent bikes, ellipticals, free weights and more to help our residents achieve their fitness goals. The fitness center is accessible to residents 24/7.           Been here for 6 weeks now and we love it so far it's just the neighbors above us that make hell of noise. It must be really bad if we're complaining a few weeks into moving in. The apartment and the community so far is really and we love it here.

            The apartment looks nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We did have a problem with the handles of the kitchen cabinet 2 weeks into our moving in. Those cabinet handles should have been sturdier. It does need more parking spaces.

              This apartment complex is beautiful but needs some work. Pest control, and noisy neighbors to name a few. Make sure to do your research before coming here. Also fair warning 3rd floor Is definitely the best option to go this has been my first experience living on the first floor and I will never do it again

                Cortland canyon creek is a peaceful, spacious, and beautiful place to live. The staff is extremely kind and attentive. Maintenance responds quickly. The area is very clean and well kept. I would absolutely recommend this place.

                  Overall pretty nice

                  Staff is professional and maintain things well. Amenities are nice such as dog friendly community and is very well kept. Apartment is nice and spacious as well. It is also in a pretty nice and safe location and public transit is close by if needed.

                    Customer service with a smile

                    I learned about this community from one of my friends and went to check it out recently. I caught the property manager by chance while she was taking a lap to make sure the property was up to par. Madison was cheerful and easy to speak with. Madison answered all my questions and gave me a quick tour around the property. Based on what I saw the property is clean, well maintained, and staffed with professionals who care about their residents. I did end up finding a community much closer to my work but overall, I was left with a great impression of Cortland and would consider them in the future.

                      My boyfriend and I just moved into this community and we are so pleased! (: The leasing agents were so patient with us through the application process, always prompt to help. We moved into a clean and well kept apartment with lots of closet space. The community is also super clean, beautiful and quiet. The maintenance crew is super responsive and helpful also. Would give 10 stars if I could!!

                        If you want to live here there are no elevators. And if you decide to live on the first floor get ready to hear your upstairs neighbors do everything. When the walk you hear it. When they go to the bathroom, shower, have company, fight, cry…everything. The office staff don’t kick people out for noise violations no matter how how many times you complain. Put the police in your contacts because you will be calling them often. Oh and forget about getting any sleep if your neighbors are not courteous. Living here for 10 months and ready for the lease to end so I can never rent a so called luxury apartment.

                          The biggest issue is the echoing noise from Greenside Of rushing cars beginning at 5 am plus the George Bush toll. The noise is unbearable because these apartments were built without insulation. I have lost so much sleep. You hear whooshing all day long. It echoes all the way into my bathroom and closet (that do not face the road at all and are further into my floor plan). Soundproof curtains did not work! Plus they have bright lights every other unit on that side that stay on all night and pierce through your closed blinds that feel like the sun never goes down unless you buy black curtains. What other reviews have said on Google are true. Super thin walls to your neighbors and above you. From the hallways, into your kitchen, you'll also hear every conversation word for word as if you were there. I walked by some apartments facing Greenside on a walk and heard their jokes and debate word for word from their living room from the outside. No one is loud.                             No covered parking, security is zero, I mean anyone can get in and out of the property at will. As a resident my car got towed and I had to pay $326 to get it, prior to that, I went to the leasing office to get a permit but it was declined bcos I only presented my insurance card and driver's license , I recently just purchased the vehicle and it wasn't in my name yet which I explained, they asked me to wait till the transfer of ownership was complete before I could get a permit but my car got towed before I could finish the process. 3.                               It's an expensive complex that will leave you questioning your decision. Several things to note: there's a major convenience fee when paying by credit card (higher than 40 dollars extra per month), there's also other little fees that send rent over the top. Additionally it's noisy between hallway doors slamming, neighbors stomping, and engines revving all night. The positives: amenities are nice, staff is cool when you can reach them and maintenence is prompt when you need them. Overall, I've learned new things to look for when apartment hunting from living here, starting with payment fees and what does the unit's noise level sound like when people are actively at home.
