If you've read some of the reviews about the Reserve at River Park West, which is just across the street, the Villas, may seem like your saving grace. But don't be fooled. My fiance and I loved the fact that the apartments were right off 59, and close to First Colony Mall, restaurants, and entertainment. The apartments themselves are nice. Some may say pricey for what you get, but you have to pay more for peace of mind. Which is what we had...in the beginning. Some questionable tenants are being allowed to move in. Two times we received notices about an apartment break in. Guess who's apartment...the on call sheriff's deputy! Talk about safety. (FBCSO is right around the corner!) One night a pregnant woman was running barefoot around the apartment complex chasing this guy w/ a knife. I mean seriously? C'mon. There was a Fast and Furius crew who liked to rev their motorcycles, and blast music from their pimped out cars at night. And parents allowed their heathen kids to play in the parking lots. Oh, and management. I never knew the other staff names, well except for the manager, --------------. The staff acted like they couldn't answer any questions w/o her approval. Guess they were mezmoried by her horrid blonde streaks. I've seen her talk to females in a condescending way, but not the guys, of course. She just batted her eyes, and let her streaks put them under a spell. ------'s competency level is questionable. You say you gave her something (i.e. a form) she'll lie and said you didn't. Then treats you like you're wasting her time w/ heavy sighs and talk about how she is just so busy w/ other paperwork. Maintenance stays on top of things for the most part. But you have to keep submitting your request to get anything done. I'm indifferent on recommending these apartments to someone. The apartments=4 stars. --------------=5 demerits I'll come back and rate it an overall 5 when ------ leaves. P.S. I'm not holding my breath on that, and neither should you.
