My microwave is dated 2007, and has been used by several tenants before me obviously, the microwave door is worn out and needs to be changed. I am not the only tenant in this unit that has used the microwave, the handle is not broken but just worn out which is expected after 11 years and should be wear and tear. As a tenant I understand what has to be paid for and that is if I was negligent and broke anything in the apartment but in this case this is not my fault, also my kids are too young, 2 and 6 years old and have no way of reaching the microwave. As for the management to state that I have to pay for the microwave is unfair. If I have to pay for the microwave handle than when I move I will take it with me and replace it with the old handle. Since the management changed the the service has gone bad to worst. when I log on a complaint in the so called "portal online maintenance request" they mark it complete with out even checking with you if the work is done or not. It is NOT safe at all there were so many robberies reported in this compound, 3 cars were robbed and they were on rocks tires were missing. there were so many other incidents like this where my fellow tenants were robbed because the gates were left open over night because they did not bother to fix it. I am paying to much money for a terrible service like this.
