Been here about & year-and-a-half and plan on staying another 5 or so. (Moved a lot over the years, I need to stay put. So far I've had no serious - if any - issues. Yes, the cabinets are a little old and the appliances are outdated, but that doesn't bother me. I cleaned up the cabinets with some Murphy's oil soap & they look good. The neighborhood seems pretty good to me. Coming from South Austin, this is much easier living. Everything I need is within 2 or 3 miles in any direction, and if I can, I walk. The surrounding neighborhood is like any other, some lots are good, some need some work, doesn't affect me. I feel safe all the time, including at night, when I usually ride my bike around the area. I have not had any plumbing/disposal/dishwasher issues but whenever I've needed Maintenance (washer/dryer install) they've arrived quickly & got the job done. Everybody's human & there are a lot of units here; as with anything, if you need to be persistent then be persistent. Maintenance crew is all friendly, as are the ladies in the front office. I'm there a lot for packages & am always met with a smile. Karen is a huge asset to the company & easily approachable. I've never had anything stolen but I would never leave anything outside ANYWHERE. (Being on the 2nd floor helps.) Downtown Round Rock is only a mile away, and that was a pleasant surprise - great restaurants & bars, live music, easy parking and a diverse crowd. For ME the place is perfect.
