I just want to let viewers know that Bandera Crossing is a nice place to live. I read the other reviews and I do not think they are very accurate. I have rented apartments for 13 years and I find Bandera Crossing is a pleasant place to live. As for the comment about poor lighting, I do not agree! There is ample lighting, but like anywhere else light bulbs do go out. Unless the office is notified how will they know when a light is out. They do not work 24hrs a day and it is unrealistic to assume otherwise. If communication between we the residents and the office is made then we can have better lighting, etc. I have had no problems with my neighbors, but I have heard from Scott ( the police officer here ) that the office did kick out those noisy kids from the back of the property. As for the hit and run of the cars, that is anywhere you go. My car was hit when I lived at Palermo apartments, which are gated are very pricey! So you see gates are not a solution. It is a false security and pain in the ---. The cards needed for a gate demagnitize your credit cards and are very costly if you loose one. I have been here for 4 years and I just renewed for another year. Communication is the key word here. ALSO DSL IS AVAILABE AT BANDERA CROSSING VIA SWB AND HAS BEEN SINCE NOV 2000!!!!!!!!!
