We have been residents for two years now and have never had a problem until this year. This site has been undergoing new management FREQUENTLY and I do NOT recommend residing here until they get their stuff together. I'm a Texas A&M student so it was really convenient living an exit away, but at what cost? The new management cursed us with late fees that I had to dig up receipts to find just to clear our name. The receipts continued to check out, except I couldn't find two of them so "until i found them there was nothing they could do". Common sense says that if ALL of my receipts are dated the 1st-3rd, and at one point they even showed that I had only paid about six hundred when I showed the receipt for 800, then something isn't right on YOUR end. Not only that, but I had to be persistent in telling the new manager that we indeed had a valid lease, she continuously informed that they had nothing on file and that I could give my 30 day or renew. "Take your time but don't take too long". She even recommended another property and wrote her information down for me to give to those apartments. In less than a week, I'm calling and calling trying to give our thirty day because after touring 4 properties we had finally decided on a house. No call back. Finally I made it a point to go in and the temp informed me that my lease was on file. So the manager, whom was so persistent on informing us that we were non compliant without a lease despite my constant assurance that we had signed a lease THREE times this year (there always seemed to be SOMETHING missing.. an initial, signature, etc), tells me to my face that once again, we do not have a valid lease. She then decides to stop me from filling the thirty day notice out---and tells me to wait. The very next day I call to check on the status, because we had already sealed the deal with the house, and the assistant manager smugly informs me that I would be breaking my lease if I put in my thirty days. My husband goes up there, and is informed the same thing. "It was a mistake". That's what I've heard from the assistant manager, manager, regional manager, and I have yet to receive a call from the individuals listed above these smug, distasteful individuals. Needless to say, we are acquiring an attorney. I have brought THREE residents to this property since I've resided here. I will continue to inform prospective residents that this property will NEVER keep you, a tenant, as a priority. I will inform ALL of A&M that this property is a poor excuse of a nearby university residence, and my husband will inform ALL of his employees that Pinnacle, the management team, is the least respectful group of "professionals" we've encountered. Thanks, Tina Chapa, you have solved nothing and I feel sorry for the individuals you're leading.
