I have lived at Copperfield for 9 months now and have really enjoyed it. The staff is friend and considerate. You can always expect a smile from any of them when you walk in the door. Maintenance is great, If I call in for work to be done it is completed the same day. I was really surprised about the quickness of the maintenance men.

    I enjoy living here and consider it home. The staff that are presently here, in my opinion, work as a team and have been pleasant to interact with. I love the location of my apartment and all the improvements that have been made to the property. They also provide activities for the residents which is something they don't have to do but do because I believe it is to let us know we are appreciated.

      I moved in last your of 2012 and there are alot of turn around they have anger mangers. They don;t complete there job like if you need something fix you have to wait a month. Also i was going to renew my lease but they said no.In there Words (Because my sister comes over she has to be on me lease.But my sister live with my mom.Manger told me if i don't put her on the lease then she would have me to vacate my apartment so i said no and she wrote up a paper that said to leave by date.And there nothing i can do about it

        Mamagment are lying thiefs.This property is poorly managed.The place is old and not kept up.There were 3different managers in six monthes. I am calling better business and reporting how they lied and took money.Do not rent here.

          The current manager at Copperfield Apartments JoAnn Begeron has the customer service skills of a Department of Transportation's processor. I recently had a major problem that occurred and was given little if any attention. I was left with a feeling that the manager cared very little and was never offered an apology for the inconvenience that I underwent while repairs were being met. She is an arrogant manger that only uses "Home welcome" at the entrance which is nothing more than an empty slogan. Copperfield Apartments only placed patches on interior apartment without seriously addressing the structural flaws.

            There is a VERY bad problem with the management team. Since I have been here there has been like 5 managers and asst. managers. They are REALLY unorganized and always do what they have to do to cover their butt. Even if it means to lie or go back on something that they said. Even to the people who have been here for a while. They are quick to collect the rent to they are not in trouble and quick to but a not on the door saying that you owe but are SLOW to get things done and not honer an agreement. I had an agreement with one manager and when something opened up that I wanted, of course she left. So I was left screwed! Do NOT trust the management! which is sad cause they are the ones that are taking care of your rent money and your house. SO BASICALLY JUST PAY YOUR RENT AND DON'T ASK ANYTHING FROM THEM! if you can do that then this is a great place!

Our current pet policy is a 45 lb weight limit with a $150.00 pet deposit and a $150 non refundable pet fee for 1 pet.                 We have a new manager again....... lets see how round 5 goes. Update on the rest of the propety. Um... Cindy still rude still at 0% for customer service. She would fit in at the DMV perfectly. Maintance has made a wonderful turn around finaly grounds look good maintance request fixed in a timely maner. I dont know the kids name hes the youngest but he is always acomadating and polite. The office has left a bitter taste in my mouth the office can not get much of anything together. Im still waiting on a call back from the new manager its been 3 weeks now. It seems like a daily struggle to provide any qaulity of customer service or adequate bussiness sense.

                  Don't live here. I lived there for a year and a half. I had a hard time getting any help from the management. They don't work with you and are very rude. They made it impossible to end my lease. When I moved out the charged me for a new carpet even though there was nohing wrong wth it, I paid to shampoo it before I moved out. Don't be fooled by the "great" price. It is a nightmare! I have nothing postive to say about this apartment or their horrible, rude management. The management company is awesome though. But you have to go above the office management to get anything done!

It is always unfortunate when unexpected events occur that require you to terminate your lease before your end date. We are required to adhere to the terms of the lease contract that you agree to when you move in. We have to follow the lease for every tenant no matter the circumstance due to fair housing. For your move out charges, we are required by the lease to accompany you on a walk through, if you request one, before you vacate your unit. This option is given so that you are not charged anything by surprise. The staff here at Copperfield Apartments makes every effort to treat everyone fairly; we would never knowingly charge someone for anything that was unnecessary.                     I have lived here over a year.appearances can be deceiving. The management staff are generally rude and disorganized. The good ones they get don't stay because of how the upper level staff treat them. The maintenance staff used to be good but has gone down in the year I have been there. I have seen a little improvement with the older gentleman that is there now but overall maintenance is poor. The apartments are kept repaired in minimal standards but the rent continues to go up. The gate never works right and it is not secure. The residents do not keep up with the dog poop and there are many dogs over the 25ld limit. The pool area gets over run by the older adolescents and s not a friendly place or children. I would not recommend living here.

                      The price on my apartment is wonderful however I have only been living here two years and we have not been so lucky with management. We have been through 3 managers are now on our 4th assistant manager and I lost track of the leasing agents and maintenance people we have been through. I have only been living here two years. I have had a rodent die in my wall and was told to wait it out over the weekend and open the windows if the smell got too bad. It took the entire maintenance staff at one point to figure out how to keep my soap dish attached to the shower wall. My ceiling was leaking and I reported it and when they got there it had stopped leaking and had a huge bubble hanging from the ceiling and they told me well it s not leaking anymore there is nothing we can do to find the leak.                         Once upon a time .....

                        There was a time that this was a decent property with excellent office and maintenance staff. However somewhere along the way the decision to let them go was made and the property has been going down hill since. There are numerous things that can be said about the moral and ethical behavior of the previous head maintenance, and the current porter and Assistant Manager, but since there are "guidelines" that have to be followed they can not be spelled out in this review. Hopefully at some point the Corporate office will actually take action on the complaints they have received against the current staff and start anew from top to bottom. The wonderful residents of Copperfield deserve nothing less. And if by any luck if anyone from the Corporate office should come across this review, I would recommend an audit of the property.

                          TRASH MOVING IN

                          When I moved is the place was pretty nice. A few years later, you have your neighbors marijuana smoke coming in through your vents. You have your neighbors fighting for parking spaces, kids running around in the parking lots, nasty pool water. Some times there are strange people sitting in their cars at night, CREEEPY. like I said, all these werent issues not when I moved in, this property is going to crap.

There have been some new faces this year and I must say that I am thrilled with the service I have been receiving lately. Megan ( I think her name is) is wonderful.                                 Change in Management.

                                We moved in the later part of 2010. Our issues were all with the management. Terry (Former Asst. Prop. Mgr.) was decently helpful. LaDonna (Former Prop. Mgr.) was straight out RUDE! She had bad people skills. She was extremely inconsistent in her work. Always nickle and dime-ing. Seemed like the office was always unorganized. We would get notices on our door claiming we owed money when we in fact had credit. There was a young lady who was always willing to help out, Stephanie. However, she didn't last long. (Seems to me because of a horrible boss). Luckily, about the middle of summer, both Terry and LaDonna were transferred to other properties. The ladies here now are professional and helpful. Maintenance was extremely good when we first moved in. Now, I'd say they've slipped to about mediocre. There are only two guys so they might be overwhelmed. The property always looks well kept. The gate is broken probably one or two weeks every other month. The pool isn't always the cleanest. And it's really busy during the summer. Our two-bedroom, two-bath apartment is nice.                                   Maintenance Staff

                                  I wanted to commend the maintenance staff and especially one maintenance by the name of Herbert. All of the maintenance staff have proven to be kind and efficient. But Herbert goes above and beyond. Herbert lets you know that he genuinely cares about the tenants and it is not fake it is real. If he doesn't know the answer he will find the answer for you. I am not the only one that is glad that Herbert works at Copperfield, ask the other tenants as wel. I am not an isolated case. Kudos to Herbert, he makes living here a whole lot more tolerlable. Go Herbert!!!!!!!! Hope he never leaves at least not before I do.

                                    I like it here...

                                    I am going on my 2nd lease term, although there have been mishaps, I do like living here. I am in a spacious 1 bedroom and I got a really good deal. My friend referred me here, so she got $400 dollars off her rent. The staff is super nice to me when I come in, and they are pretty helpful. Maint is quick too. They got to my ac right away. I dont really have any complaints so far, its a pretty good place to live.

                                      Roaches, ants and other rodents, plus car vandalism

                                      It's very easy 2 get approved for this aptmnt coz no one wants 2 live or work there. All the good employees, Connie and Terry, left because of this mean spirited lady called Ladonna. She wants you to pay 2 clean an apartment that was not cleaned by previous tenants, if u want 2 move away, she will make it so had. She will just get one day and start talking crazy stuff, I think she needs a psychologist. No staff stays there 4 even a month. Don't live or work there, unless Ladonna leaves. I would live my drink next to my bedside, getting up in the morning, ants will be all over my pillow, and she wants you to pay for pest control. My brand new Benz was vandalized, and do not be cheated about the onsite police. The guy is un reachable and he does not work there, he just lives there. Do u mean he wants to do police work at home? Management are a butch of crooks!

                                        okay so you want the truth about this place.... -gate breaks often so if you are looking for a gated community ...not it for you -manager TERRY awful manager and an awful person was rude to me everytime i went in only is an effective manager of collecting money for past due(a day late) she'll be right on top of that anything else nothing but a lazy -----!! -maintenance- i can say they are better when i left then when i first moved in -A/C leaked the ENTIRE time(2yrs) i was living there and im not talking about drips im talking fossett looked like i turned on the fossett from the kitchen but from the ceiling where the a/c unit was they would come and fix. it it would stop then 1-3 wks later leaking again -kids running around the parking lot all the time with no parents around im talking little kids you must watch for them when backing up -when it gets cold outside expect to see some tree roaches INSIDE to warm up right next to you. -PARKING- dont expect to go out to party hang with friends to late or work late you will be SOL… See More>

                                          Great location and prompt maintenence for the most part, but the management is extremely dishonest and verbally abusive. They stole a brand new television, along with other possessions, from my unit. They also left trash, wood chips, cigarette butts, and bloody papertowels everywhere. Not only that, but they threw trash at my face.

                                              Love it so far

                                              I moved here from California in April, 2010. Terry helped me secure my apartment via emails, phone calls and mail. She was so helpful and kind. When I finally arrived to Tx, here at the Copperfield Apts, Terry was very professional, she answered all my questions and my apt was ready for me. I have had nothing but a positve experience here. The grounds are clean, if I need anything I call the office or stop by and they immediatley help. My apartment is perfect especially for the cost and especially since I lived in California and trusted Terry to secure me one. I will be staying here for guite sometime.... Thank You Terry and the rest of the Copperfield leasing office..

                                                So Happy to be Here

                                                I moved in in February and love it. I have no issues and the staff are great. I have read some of the reviews and they seem to me to be very isolated incidents of questionable reasons for giving a bad rating. I have spoken to other tenants and they seem very happy here also. The manager and the staff are great and caring people. They have gone out of there way for me when I really needed some help. This is a great value for a great apartment and I dont think I will be leaving anytime soon.
