Give credit where credit is due

We have been at the complex community for over four and a half years. We have seen management and ownership come and go. May Garcia and Irma Blanco have been outstanding! They are caring, compassionate, understanding, and they listen. Our new apartment manager, Ray Gibbs is very is Stern but she is very kind. We met her for the first time yesterday and she took the time out of her busy day to speak to us, on more than one occasion. We appreciate what she is trying to do with our community. Andrae works with maintenance. She has been here the longest of all the maintenance workers. Every time you see her she has a smile on her face and she makes sure that she greets us and always waves to us. She is very knowledgeable as a maintenance worker. She seems like she loves her job and the residents as well. I can honestly say that I have never had a problem with any of the staff. They all have been a delight.

Don't believe the website it's nothing what you're coming to. Fitness area please you're running from bullets Or running to your car because they're breaking into it. Swimming pool, you're swimming pool is when you're AC leaks in your apartment for the weekend And when you call the after hour number and no one comes. Overall, they're not safe apartments.. I've only been here a year and 2 new management. What does that tell you. And for the rate that they're asking, Ridiculous! Your neighbors are disrespectful, loud and rude.

Apartment Management Company 8722 Cinnamon Creek Dr San Antonio, TX Subject: URGENT: AC Unit Repair Negligence - Legal Action Imminent Dear Apartment Management Company, I am writing this review with great disappointment and frustration regarding the continuous neglect and inaction concerning the non-functional air conditioning (AC) unit in my apartment. As a tenant, I am entitled to a livable and comfortable environment, as explicitly mandated by the laws of the state of Texas. Unfortunately, your company has repeatedly failed to fulfill its legal responsibilities, blatantly disregarding the rights and well-being of tenants. Despite numerous requests for repairs and documented notices provided as evidence, the AC unit issue persists, leaving me without relief. This prolonged disregard for tenants' rights is a clear violation of Texas Property Code §92.052, which unequivocally places the onus on landlords to provide and maintain habitable premises, including functional AC units. I have shown considerable patience in awaiting a resolution to this matter, but my patience has worn thin.     Iris/Axio is the WORST place to live at. Management is terrible!

    ---- -----, the property manager and ---- -----, the assistant manager, plus their leasing agent, ---, with --------------------------------------------------, are the worst! They talk to tenants like they’re trash once they get what they want and they rent to you. If you complain they tell you to, shut the hell up or for you to leave if you don’t like it. They are abrasive and have no business working in customer service or leasing whatsoever. Maintenance takes forever to do anything and it’s never done right. There’s mold in several units, rat and cockroach infestations. Shootings every other night with random people who live in the building, lurk and stalk women who are walking alone in plain day light or night. Stay away.         LOOK AT YOUR APARTMENT BEFORE YOU SIGN

        When I moved in April 2023 my apartment had alot of problems I would report them they come look and said they be back until this day I still have no blinds that are long enough so at night people can see into my apartment I guess they order there stuff and it come in by donkey instead of a company truck bringing it... my front wall has water bubbles from rain they looked at amd said we will send someone here I am thinking they are the someone they did what I did... My daughters car got broken into... still haven't got a dishwasher so gnats are everywhere and being charged for pest control nothing... the bathroom are so out dated they painted the buy so if you clean your shower the paint comes off clogging the drain ... basically this place needed work at they did was change out carpet and put floor it place is not worth what they are charging me for and it was the wrong type of apartment but I never got to see it until after papers were signed.. they get you with the nice words make it sound good but nothing get… See More>

            Trashio apartments

            I’ve lived here since January and nothing has been done. I have a move in To do list that hasn’t been touched. Ceiling leaks sink leaks and they don’t fix it. The office staff doesn’t know anything and hangs up on you or doesn’t answer. I’ve called while in there and watched them ignore the call. Rats in walls. Break ins shootings murders. Gym has homeless breaking in with glass on floor. Pools are green and not cleaned with all kinds of mosquitoes and algae. Dog park is not even suitable for dogs.               My friends and I moved into our 3 bed 2.5 bath about three months ago and the apartment we got isn’t even close to finished. Our dishwasher isn’t hooked up right and we can’t use it because it leaks, the sink in the kitchen also leaks every time we use it. Roaches have been an issue as well. The staff doesn’t care about their residents at ALL. Not to mention the fire extinguisher they gave us has already been used and is EMPTY, which is a large safety hazard. Our closet has leaks and now is creating black mold that could potentially end up being hazardous to our health and the downstairs bathroom has two holes in the ceiling so the people that live upstairs can’t even take a bath because the water leaks down into my roommates bathroom. We have mentioned it to maintenance countless times and they have not done anything to help. Another thing is that whenever it rains the water goes through my downstairs roommates windows and leaks in ALL OVER the carpet, and quite honestly I’m anxious to step certain places because of all the water damage.                 Not sure what happened there concerning Axio Apartments at all but I was led to believe for months on end that I would be moving into an apartment/townhome and each time the date to move in would arrive, there was always some type of mix up and then the date would be pushed further out. Got tired of waiting after signing two separate contracts to two separate Townhomes, I gave up on the prospect. I am guessing either that they accidentally gave out the apartment to someone else each time or, they just don't like the prospect of having a disabled veteran moving in. Either way, I asked for my deposit back ($350) and they have yet to produce either an apartment or my security deposit back to me. I do not recommend this place on account that once you pay for a security deposit they tend to hold onto it (based on my own experience) thinking that possibly I will forget about the deposit on account of my disabilities.                   Have lived here for almost 2 years now. At first, the service and staff were really nice however, the staff consistently changes here. The dumpsters are always overflowing with trash and no one picks up around it. Work orders to fix things are never completed, most of the time they are checked off as completed but no one even shows up to your apartment. Please do yourself a favor and do not sign a lease at these apartments horrible staff and the dirtiest community I have ever seen, very happy that my lease is up soon so my family and I can get out of this dump.

                    I have been living here for 2 years and I can say that this place is the absolute worst, I do not understand how you can call yourself a "LUXURY" complex when. 1. the pools are never clean 2.the dumpster is constantly full and the trash is thrown everywhere. 3. The Security Gate to the complex has never worked. 4. both my Fiance and I fell down the stair due to the complex not fixing the stairs or putting salt down after the winter storm. 5. CURRENTLY WITHOUT WATER FOR 3 DAYS DUE TO SHIPPY PROPERTIES NOT CHECKING VACANT APARTMENTS TO SEE IF PIPES ARE FROZEN. THE PIPES OF COURSE BURST AND THE MANAGEMENT TEAM SAID NOTHING.                       Where to visit my family probably look dirty mailbox broken and open trash all over dumpsters not look like they're being dumb regularly Gates always open it supposed to be a closed community gate she's like anybody can go in and out never really see management around was visiting my family and air condition was not working right heaters are not working right lots of drug activities in and out of that place couldn't let my grandkids go out and play because of too many people going in and out with no keys or no codes notice a neighbor's apartment getting flooded during the winter cold don't recommend anybody for this place needs a new management or new Property Management because the management they got now are not doing their job apartments are not up to codes people that lived here before she'll be reimbursed with some kind of reimbursement this place needed really needs to be investigated

                          Well I wouldn't call it an apt more like a dump. All the dumpsters are over flowing with trash. So it smells like trash as looks like trash because it flys everywhere and where ever you are also smells like dog piss and ---- everywhere. There's been a couple shootings and break ins. The front gate never works so everybody and anybody can come and go as they please the mail room always has broken boxes because they never fix ---- because maintenance is behind hundreds of work orders but can't blame maintenance for management slacking in there end. Yes the management is trash just like the complex. You'll prolly see a couple good reviews on here but 100% it's the front office trying to hype up there ------ complex so please do your self a favor and don't stay here and get stuck with a lease

                                I've lived in Axio since late March of this year and I should've run away from day 1. I was supposed to be moved in by March 13, all of my payments were made, but after repeated promises from the lady at the desk and a threat to move into another apt, I finally received my keys on March 23rd, but wasn't able to be "official" until the 24th since they were STILL working on the apt. Now for the list: Right off the bat the new dishwasher was leaking, they had to replace it. I've had my kitchen sink "repaired" 4 times - the leak started a week after I moved in, each time they finally came over I had to go into the office repeatedly to get someone over, the issue has finally been resolved about 3 weeks ago BUT there is still mold they haven't taken care of under my kitchen sink (I have 4 children at home!). Took 2 months for them to fix the light in my kitchen. My living room fan doesn't work, I've been "in progress" for having that repaired for 2 months.                                     I write this during our Covid-19 global healthcare crisis. Considering the schools were closed down unexpectedly, I missed 1 week of work. I am a nurse, and a single mother of 4. My check was short because I could not find immediate childcare for that first week the children were out of school. I was able to pay more than half of my rent. I explained to the complex that I would pay the remainder of my rent in less than 2 weeks with my next paycheck. But they said I can make a payment arrangement but the late fees will accrue until the balance is paid. They claim to make accommodations, but they are not real accommodations. They want people to make payments online, but the online portal continues to have charges an extra $30 or so. They provide information on local organizations that could assist with rent. I don't want to take resources that I don't need that could help someone in real need. They are offering payment plan options, meanwhile late fees continue to accrue.                                         Jacky and Melanie are the nicest people at the front desk. The first thing when you enter the door you are greeted with big smiles and people who care about you. Not only to prospective residents but also to current tenants. I live in a studio with my husband and whenever I have a work order, it is done within 48 hours. I love how they have the business center it is so convenient for me which they didn't have until when the new management took over. There was one time when I sent a print and Jacky had it ready before I came. Melanie is really good with following up as well. There are many fun community events to attend. Axio always try to keep everything clean like the leaves. Don't let the bad reviews make your decisions. A lot of the negative reviews are exaggerated and of course, nothing is perfect in any apartment complexes.                                           I enjoyed touring this community. The town homes are beautiful and the three bedrooms are so spacious. Several different floor plans to choose from whether you need a 1,2,or 3. Can't wait till we move in and with the 1,299 rent its definitely worth the price.

                                            When I first moved here in June 2019 I was extremely disappointed. Things promised to be fixed before my move in weren't. I had no AC for the entire summer, but once Shippy bought the complex things actually started to turn around. They hired Joe Herrera As head of maintenance and he couldn't be more considerate and competent. He goes above and beyond and actually went to Home Depot to purchase parts needed unlike in the past when I was told sorry we have to order it, which left things broken up to weeks. No more marking work orders completed when they hadn't even come by. Management is much better than previous. Before I would have told everyone to rent anywhere else, but as long as Joe is in charge I'd recommend this community.

                                              Lived there from 2013 to 2019 in three separate units. We were suckered in by the amount of space for the price, as well as the convenient location. Any individual who posts a rating higher than a one-star is out of their mind and will find out the hard way sooner or later. I could go on and on, but here are a few of my favorite memories: -First unit (2013; #507): First day we moved in there was a baseball-sized hole in our master bedroom window. Maintenance guy covered it with duct tape. Regardless of countless requests and in-office visits, the window was only replaced THE WEEK WE MOVED OUT--A YEAR LATER. -No A/C for three months in the summer of 2013. I was pregnant at the time. That was "cool." -BED BUG INFESTATION that occurred the month we moved in. Complex begrudgingly only paid for a third of the fee for removal. -Lived next to drug dealers in two of our units. Got to experience one really cool undercover officer raid. YAY. The guys are really neat and like to leave their windows open while they smoke weed. Lends itself to an awesome ambiance for the kids.
