I moved in Summit Hill in the spring of 2006. My townhome was $710/ mo.
From day 1 I could not drink the water. It was brown and tasted like rust. Not all apts. have this problem I would go to my neighbor's house and fill up pitchers from their sinks. But mine was completely undrinkable and they had the nerve to send me monthly water bills in excess of $70!!!
Management said it was because my apt sat empty for a yr before I moved in and eventually the problem would resolve itself.
In my building most apts were vacant but in the few that were occupied, two were drug dealers. One apt. got raided by the police and one of its tenants could be spotted walking around property visibly displaying a gun calling himself "------ security". Police were always out there.
The grounds are unsafe both from crime and landscape issues, rusty nails protruding metal, etc.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!
I moved out at the end of Oct. they are threatening to take me to court for breaking the lease. Good thing the office is so incompetent they did my lease wrong. A week after I moved in I received a letter saying due to theur errors my contract was void and I must fill it out again. I said "not until I have drinking water"
Oooops Angela. Y'all never got it back did you? No contract no lease. Good luck!
