Resident • 2017 - 2018
Where should I start? At first the office staff was really nice and helpful, but after we signed they were horrible! I would walk into the office and everyone stares at me like I'm stupid, they don't approach you nor ask you how they can help. If you are planning on moving here DON'T! So here's another story, we have never had a problem with rent before. Until someone literally tried to steal our money order. Here's what happened. My roommate and I went to deposit our money order into the little hatch thing, and we did it about 5 days before rent was due. The day after rent was due I noticed a little note on our door. The note claimed we didn't turn in our rent and that we will have to pay a fine for each day it was late. Now the rent here isn't bad if you're a college student, but no one has another $1100 lying around. My roommate and I freaked out, we went to the office, and they said, "Sorry, we can't help you out there, it's up to you to pay rent." We told them we are literally going to put in a police report, and tell them someone in this office is trying to steal our rent. About an hour later I received a call claiming that someone just so happened to find it. Coincidence? I think NOT! Also don't leave your plants outside, someone stole one of my plants and the office refused to post about the fact that someone stole it on their forum to let other residents know, because they claimed it was "too negative" and corporate wouldn't want to see that. I know it's another resident because I live in the back in a corner, where it's hard to see my patio unless you're heading my direction. AND I have a random homeless person who literally sleeps outside my door, the office wanted me to call the police on them. I told them they were heartless and they said it was for the safety of the residents. Ummmmm okay, you can't post about a plant being stolen but you want me to call the cops on someone who just needs someplace to sleep? I think you're pretty heartless. The gym is a joke. Plus side: rent is cheap, but you get what you pay for, and it's close to campus. If I can rate this place a negative I would. The only nice staff are the maintenance people they're literally the sweetest people ever, they say hi to you everytime they see you, and they don't have a negative attitude like all the office workers. Here's some advice to the office people, you attract more bees with honey and sugar, than you do with your vinegary --- attitude.
