I haven't moved in yet, but I visited and put in my application for 2017 school year in December. I was a little worried with it being christmas eve but working mid shift in san antonio makes it harder to get things like this done. Luckily, the office staff was really courteous. I met with Mari, who was very engaging and helped answer all my questions. We did a really quick tour, in the rain unfortunately, but she was nice enough to show me all the amentities as well as the cottage that I was looking at. Personally I felt like I was being a bit difficult. I had a bunch of questions, kept changing my mind, and was worried about the guarantor process. Not once did the staff answer me rudely, or dodge any of the questions I had or rushed me out the door. It really was a big selling factor, considering I came from the Villagio and have experienced a bunch of negative issues. Mari was also really friendly and started asking about my job and hobbies, and helped me fill out my roommate questionaire. She was really personable the entire process The cottages were gorgeous. I ended up going with a five bedroom and while I was worried with having four additional roommates, the cottages were basically the size of a normal home (or a bit smaller). The amenities were great, the neighborhood is gorgeous. I ended up going for the Austin 2, which is one of the cottages that stand alone. (some are attached to multiple buildings). I had looked at reviews previously and brought those concerns up during the tour. She was really honest, and said that parking has been a problem due to construction. Honestly, some of the reviews complaining about construction are really something out of their control. Construction crews rarely work nights due to the danger of working in the dark and its better that they do their work during the day instead of when people are trying to sleep. All in all I'm very excited and cannot wait to move in August.
