The main reason for this poor (1 star) overall review largely stems from the office management, specifically from upper management. In regards to noise, grounds, safety, and neighborhood categories, it varied from average to slightly above average. The frustration from dealing with the upper management may come after you have moved out. About 1 month from moving out, I receive a billing statement from their office which listed various charges which were inappropriate. Over a period of 3-4 weeks of trying to resolve the issue over the phone, "call back tomorrow" responses, and a significant number of calls that were not returned, I was finally able to reach an agreement and have the charges dropped from the statement. However, 1 week later I receive a letter from a collection agency stating there is still a remaining balance or charge. Further attempts to communicate with upper management are futile and ignored at this point. To current residents: I strongly encourage you to take your own photos of the apartment/cottage at the time of move out. If possible, get the office to sign off on the condition of the apartment at time of move out. When calling the office in regards to these move out statements, inform them you will be recording your conversations and keep them as a backup as proof of any agreements. If possible, obtain written (electronically or physically) records of these conversations. To potential residents: I can only speak for less than a handful of apartment complexes that I have experienced in this city, but this one definitely ranks last simply because of the poor treatment received from the upper management.
