I am a coffee drinker, and one amenity I love about this complex is the free coffee they have in the lobby area (starbucks = the good stuff!). Almost everyday I make my way into the lobby after class to pick up a cup. Now, in the review guidelines it states that it's not a good idea to drop names of apartment personnel, but trust me when I say that I am on a first name basis with all the Vantage employees. I have lived at several apartment complexes before this one and none of the employees there took the time to get to know me, but it is different here. The staff have always made me feel right at home, and if I ever had a problem or issue with my apartment or one of my neighbors, they've resolved the issue quickly. During my two years at this complex I've had the typical problems anyone has living in an apartment (air filter's needed to be changed, routine exterminator visits, etc.) and the maintenance crew has always been quick to respond. However, one major event did occur. During the winter time in 2009 a water pipe busted in my upstairs neighbors laundry room, water was dripping down on my balcony and I was freaking out because it was a Saturday and I didn't know if maintenance was going to be able to help. They did in a big way! About 15-20 minutes after I made the call to the lobby a maintenance man went up to the apartment above mine and shut the water off and fixed the pipe, it was a good thing too because the tenants were out of town for the weekend! I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone who is in school and is looking for a place to live that isn't in a "party" area (e.g. The Zone apartments off of Aquarena Springs). Also, it seems a lot of the tenants are not in school, which is good because they have jobs that require them to go to bed at a decent hour and they don't make a lot of noise.
