To sum it up, everything was a mess. BEWARE: THEY DO NOT PRORATE THE APARTMENT UPON MOVE IN. You are going to pay a full months rent, for less than two weeks living here. They also throw in some fees and make you buy a parking pass for normal parking, which isn't required. Washer, dishwasher and toilets broken when we moved in. It took about 6 months of living here (and between the roommates and I at least 60 requests) to finally come and work on all the maintenance issues. It's always a struggle to get the maintenance to do their job, and when they finally come they always leave some sort of mess behind. There was only one person in the office who seemed to be a little concerned, but she left. The office staff could be worse but they could be SO much better. If I had a dollar for every time I heard "I didn't know" or "Sorry I'm new", I could probably pay a months rent. OTHER MAJOR THINGS TO KNOW: The nice furniture they promise, is only guaranteed on the first floor (which is also around $15 extra a month). We had some of the furniture they promised but only some in some rooms. They also DON'T lock the bedroom doors, so I had a roommate come take the only nice piece of furniture I had, out of my room before I was able to make it in. I ended up with a bed frame and box that had to have been here since they were build in 99. Also an old dresser with pieces missing and weathered edges. By weathered, I mean it looks like it was left in the rain. ALL of the cabinets are the same way. If you are renting a 4/4, there is one bedroom that is much smaller than the rest. Of course they don't mention that. It's bedroom B (in my apartment at least). I mentioned that to the office staff, her response, "Yeah its stupid that they set it up that way. But there's always the one that's smaller, that sucks I'm sorry." Was VERY angry to find out this was my bedroom. Maintenance is slow, the apartments are old, rarely any parking, it's a bad experience overall. I would NOT recommend this to anyone and felt so strongly, I make sure to let everyone know.
