The Edge Apartments
Resident · 2016
Hello Internet, I'm a sophomore at Texas State University currently living at the Edge, and I'm going to write an accurate and honest review for y'all. The Edge is probably the cheapest apartment in the area in regards to rent, and it's really close to campus too. I live in a 4 bed and 2 bath apartment. Initially, the maintenance staff was slow to respond to issues, but now there is a new manager and new maintenance manager as well. They've really changed things around. This winter they plan on adding a fenced dog park, a pool table to the game room, and change the pool to a resort style. The best aspect so far is the office staff; the staff are really friendly and helpful, and the community is quite and the residents are respectful and nice. For example, our neighbors in our building threw a party, and they were courteous enough to write a note and pin it on our door a day before the party. A personal experience I had was when I lost my wallet early in the morning in the parking lot and one of the residents turned it in with all my stuff still there. I got a voicemail from the office and I was able to pick up the very next day, and I was extremely relived someone returned it and I was able to get it back. I hope this review helps you in deciding whether or not The Edge is right for you.
